Ortiz and Ramirez this postseason: 36 plate appearances, gotten on 29 times.

because i love that dirty wattter

oh, oh boston you're my home

:D

Too disgusted with my team's performance (Indians) last night to say much.

I do have to admit, though, I knew if anything would finish us it would be Sabathia's nerves and the Sox' hitting. That is one powerful lineup.

Tonight's game should be better..Carmona's got some nasty stuff. His velocity, control and location are unreal...Hopefully,Francona doesn't go to Gagne in a close game.I think the rule is he can't come in with less than an 8 run lead....Even then,it's nail biting time...

So they want better ratings for the games, so they gave the contract to TBS. So then why are they starting the games at 10 PM.

Yep..Red hot at just the right time..Tonight's game will be a good one. The vet against the young stud..

Rockies are a fun team to watch.Going home up 2-0..
Red hot is one thing. But Colorado's 19 out of 20 is .950 ball! Taveras' catch was sweet, but hate to see any team lose on a walk.

Welcome to Rocktober! Go Rockies!!!!!!! I thought for sure we were done when Corpas hit Young with that pitch. Thank God, Drew wasn't paying attention and thought he was out at second when he really wasn't.

they were awfully close to losing that game last night.

If Drew hadn't had his head up his rear end, and assuming everything else was the same (yes I know big if, but still entertaining perhaps to discuss), then Byrnes wouldn't have been stealing, Tulowitzki wouldn't have been that close to 2nd and that grounder might have snuck through.

A lot of ifs, I know.

Just shows how well things are going for the Rockies right now.

Hard to root against them.

He did..If he didn't,McCarver and Buck would have been all over it and showed the replay at nauseum...

I saw a deflection (thanks tivo). It was very very close.

I really don't think McCarver and Buck noticing something is the litmus test for truth.

The other night I believe it was Buck saying that Pronk came from Prospect and Donkey.

It really makes you wonder, what were the Red Sox thinking when they put him on the postseason roster? I definitely wouldn't if I were in charge of it.

At least Gagné got an out. Lopez couldn't even deliver that. You have to wonder why the supposed lefty "specialist" has an opposing avg of .180 against righties, but .280 against lefties.
I would rather have Snyder on the roster instead of Lopez.

I can remember when he was the best pitcher ever. Of course that was a few years and couple of injuries ago. I guess you guys can have him now.

I suspect we won't have him for long after all the poor performances he's had this year. I'm sure we'll toss him in in an offseason trade and pay part of his salary just to get rid of him. Knew the game was over right when we put him in.

this is the last year of his contract anyways iirc so he'll be a free agent
