I was only wondering if the Verizon Rep was mis-informed, as many of them are. I have had the plan for soooo long, I thought I could get up to 10 lines. Since ordering off the Apple website, they access my Verizon account, I thought I was good to go, as the order went through no problem.
You can have 10 lines total in your name, but no more than 5 per NW FS plan.

The fifth line was a 16GB SG 6 that I still have, and using the SIM in the family iPad Air 2 that uses a lot of data.
First put a 4G LTE phone back on this line by putting the SIM card into a spare 4G LTE phone. Then call Verizon to have them break this line off of the family plan as a NW 450 minute, pay as you go text, UDP line. You don't need to create a subaccount as you can have a 5 line FS and a single line in the same account. Then ask that the minutes be changed to the $15/mo 30 minute loyalty plan but keep UDP. So total cost will be $45/mo. Then put the SIM back in the tablet.

Then add a new UDP line to the FS through apple.com for your daughter.

No way!!! I live by a university, so my advice is to put your lines on CL's near universities. The kids are technically savvy enough to understand why this is a good deal although they generally don't have credit established in their own names, they can talk their parents into taking the lines. Some of them have jobs and utility bills, car payments, etc and can take the lines themselves.

Thanks for the information. That is basically what I am paying per month for each line (2 thru 5) so that works. I will do that over the weekend. Thanks again!!! The information is greatly appreciated.

Just got a rep to put a PDI on a line I am AOLing, no problem. Not sure why the rest of you can't get them to do it and I can. Aren't you being nice?!?!?!?!?!?!

All of the reps I get are women, lol!!! Not sure what that says about me then!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Did the reps say, "You ain't got no problem, Jules. I'm on the motherf'er. Sit back, chill out and wait for the PDI, which should be coming directly...onto the line."

Update

So I have done 10 lines and am keeping one for myself as well as a "seed" line that is in my subaccount. I have gotten rid of 7 and have a taker for my last one who is getting a SIM card tomorrow to take the line. So 8 total AOLed.

I have made enough off of the iPhones to buy Christmas presents and N6. Thinking about stopping soon especially if they cut me off from buying iPhone 6's.

LOL! No they are willing to do it w/o persuading them. I just tell them the people are not taking the phones and that they have their own phones to activate on the lines.

Oh, gtk. I guess I will keep on, keepin' on until they cut me off! I did a mix of iP6 and iP6+ and really bought 11 but had to return that 1 due to the mess up by the rep and loss of UDP.

I suspect that the $99 iPhone 5s could be an attractive sale on Swappa, albeit a bit riskier since the average selling price of the 16GB is now about $375 (creating about $110 potential exposure after PayPal, activation, and ETFs if you can't unload the UDPs).

I haven't had any trouble getting rid of lines so I will switch to iP5s if they cut me off of iP6.

More Fun and Games at the Apple Store!

So tonight I got an AR and the rep didn't know what to do and I had to walk him through it, lol! He was just staring at his easy pay not knowing what to do and I said to him, you have to call that number it is telling you to call. So he got a phone and dialed CORe and then handed the phone to me, lol! I told him, no he needed to speak to them and tell them he was an apple employee and give them his location code.

He didn't know which of the choices to hit when he got the automated prompts so I told him to hit 2 for indirect agent. As usual they had to close out some pending applications. Then when it was all over and I was leaving the thanked me for walking him through the AR, hahahahahahaha!!!:D:apple::D:apple::D:apple::D:apple:

He has no business working for Apple especially if he isn't a new employee. I had new reps and they all tended to write down things a lot but they knew the steps nonetheless.

Good Lord!!! What are the pre-hire qualifications for Apple "Geniuses"? Sounds like Apple has initiated pulse hiring standards.

I saw a 64 GB Gold Plus on istocknow, my white whale of iPhones. Decided to throw caution to the wind and added a line (which I wanted to do eventually anyway). Went to the Apple Store and it went off without a hitch, they didn't ask me to open it to activate or anything. And this is with unlimited messaging as well as data. Got home, opened it up, and the SIM activated without any problems either.

Now I'm going to sell my black one. I bought it after having only seen photos of the phones. Once I saw them in person, I knew I had to have the gold. Probably going to suspend my line until my fiancee can take it over.

Then perhaps this side business is not for you?

Seriously, it is not like you have some God given right to create UDP lines through Apple, AOL them and flip the iPhones and be spoonfed how to do it by people who get no compensation to spoonfeed others and are in fact helping the competition when they do it, YKWIM?

The oxygen must be getting thin on that high horse you're on.

This isn't a side business for me. In fact, it's not even a business. I got myself one line for my own use within the first week the offering was discovered and simply wanted to save myself as much money per month, thank you very much.

Now you can go back to berating community members for asking questions while you grow your business.

I said exactly what Jules suggested I say that I'm transferring the line but not the phone so can we please put a PDI (they call it a dummy number) on the AOL'd line so I am free to use my phone right away. Did 3 today and 2 the day before using those exact words

So my stack of 6 plus 128gb's is getting pretty deep so I'm going to swap a Space Gray black screen face into a Gold chassis and make the iphone Apple "should" have offered :)
