Help me fellow experts!!

Ok i have done about 12 purchases with Apple about 7 through web orders and 5 instore (one was stuck pending yesterday) in store. The last one stuck pending yesterday never went thru for some reason so I cancelled.

I purchased my 12th phones actually 11th (1 web order stuck in processing) and then on the 13th purchase (technically 12th) the guy at Apple hands me a Cell phone saying someone wants to speak to me. I take the phone and they say I am unapproved to purchased this phone. I ask why? They say I have opened too many lines and must say in good standing for up to 6 months of service.

Today I try to use my phone and my service is suspended. I called the fraud department and they want me to fax in all type of information such as Social Security, Passport, License and etc.

Do you think they will restore my service and do you think I will be able to add a line before all this ends?

So I got my services restored by fraud, went thru various fraud reps & while doing so I picked their brain & asked why did this occur? Some stated they are not sure as they don't see any details while others say they needed to confirm my address again as things came back not 100% certain.

I immediately placed anorder for in-store P/U while checking out I receive a message:

Important Information.

"Based on the information you provided, you will only be able to pick up your iPhone in an Apple Retail Store.

Verizon may also require a deposit in order for you to purchase a new iPhone; deposit can only be paid in an Apple Retail Store.

You can still continue with your iPhone purchase on the Apple Online Store by selecting the Personal Pickup option, and then picking up your order in an Apple Retail Store.

If the Personal Pickup option is not currently available, your iPhone will be removed from your Cart and you’ll be able to purchase an iPhone, depending on availability, in an Apple Retail Store."

Its 11:18am and my order still has not processed, what should I do to help this? Call CORe or ......?

That's the same message I've been getting. The fraud rep sort of indicated to my wife that if she had a utility bill, drivers license and SS card she would have been able to pick it up last night. We cancelled, and I tried to order again this morning but am still seeing that message.
We are going to try again tonight, and bring all of the paperwork they wanted.

Just called the fraud department, was asked for the same. Just emailed it to them, waiting for there response. Was also told that every iPhone that anybody buys will need analyst review

I received this message on my first iphone order. My voice account was paid in full however I had a second/separate account that was not due yet but had a balance. After paying that balance never received the message again.

Not saying the message isn't related to fraud but for me there appeared to be another reason.

How many lines do you already have??

any particular reason why the reversal ? all still with unlimited data ?

Unsure why. Still had UDP.

Forgot to say that the Rep put it back onto his account because I had not accepted the line back, per the AOL process. So weird.

How many lines do you already have??

At the time I received the message I had one phone on individual plan voice account and a separate 3g USB modem account which could not be combined or changed. That was it. I was trying to add a line to my phone account and received the message, once both accounts showed "paid in full" the message did not reappear.

:apple:

so even when you move a nationwide plan line to a nationwide plan, they are going to say, "sir/miss, you cannot move the line, unless you pick a new data plan" ?
Idk what you mean by "move" but if you mean AOL a NW plan, then yes, from what the reps are saying starting on Friday you will have to pick a new data plan.

I can't answer any more questions on this because there is nothing more to say.

Spent a minute wondering what User Datagram Protocol had to do with Verizon.
hahahahahaha!

I get that message every time I order. I get an AR almost every time also. I have never been asked to put down a deposit.

It is against the rules. So please delete your post. You can't get PMs here until you have 25 posts anyhow. There are lots of these lines available on ebay and Howard forums.

Name calling may get me banned but it won't get the thread closed. I can make a new screen name and VPN in but I can't reopen a closed thread.

You know you can open another thread don't you? lol

Anyways. I'm getting the line as we speak.

Hoping for some help on a couple of quick questions (no AOL). I just added a UDP line to my account. Before doing so I had one line that already had UDP and another that didn't. I intend to keep this new line as a replacement for the one that didn't. I guess I'll port that older line out, pay the ETF, and then later port the number back in over the newly added UDP.

I don't actually want this new iPhone I just ordered, though. Can I ask them not to open the box? If so, what do I need to do to keep the line active with UDP and plan options as chosen while freeing up the iPhone to give or sell to someone else? Do I activate a different older smartphone I can get my hands on? Can I do this myself online or will I need to call them/go in store?

What is the favorite method for porting your number out of Verizon and back in? I see it mentioned that Google Voice can take a while, but I'm not in a hurry so a few days won't be a problem.

Search the thread for porting to Page Plus, then back to Verizon. There's a lot of useful info here. Good luck :)
