jdougal,

I would be interested in an AOL line if I could AOL the line to my current line and then seperately add the AOL'd as a sub account, and then use it to add more UDP lines through APPLE? Reason being, my current add a line through my primary will not be here until Nov 6. Should I anticipate any problems activating the line being shipped to me? Thanks in advance!

I AOL'ed my UDP line to a new sub account. This way it remained the same & didn't lose the UDP.

Thanks. Fraud number is 888-483-7200. They said I had multiple open line requests. If you or Apple  cancel your order, it's still an open request. Few of those will trigger red flag.

when you cancel a in store pick and/or return a phone it can take a few days for the charge to fall off.

My original line is UDP month to month. Can I order a phone from apple fro store pickup and still somehow retain UDP by swapping my old sim in first, problem is, I have a galaxy s4. However, my wife has udp on her parents line with a 5s. How would i do this?

:D:D:D:eek:

Has anyone had success with these?

1.49 doesnt cover the work you have to do and buyer expect to get?
Now I am worried....

you will essentially add another line, but you can do it via apple.

It's crazy how market has been flooded. Last month would have gotten $500 for these lines. Now I can't even find anyone to take them for free. This sucks.

Try posting places where ATT customers hang out. I would think they would be the most likely customers.

Also, did you try the AC and iMore marketplaces? You would need to ask the mods if they are OK with this.

What are AC iMore marketplaces?

Many thanks, Jules didn't you say you wanted a UDP plan ;)
I would be willing to take one off of your hands if you pay me only $300. Pretty reasonable I think.;)

Here are the rules - you could ask them if they will bend the rules since you are giving lines away for free. They may be OK with that idk, ask them.

Lol I should have jumped on that offer for $50, it was apparently a steal.
The way I look at it, as long as I make at least the etf + activation fee off of selling the iPhone, it is a risk free transaction b/c I can always cancel the line for $350.

For the lines that don't have the asterisk (see below), I have been able to put a basic phone on the line, drop the data plan for at least 1 billing cycle and cancel the line for $175. Not sure if you could do it with these lines due to the asterisk, but worth a try if you have to cancel the line.

Here is the math - as long as you can sell a 16GB iPhone 6 for full retail, you should be only out the activation fee if you have to cancel the line at least at my sales tax rate.

Sale Price = $650

Subsidized 16GB iP6 = $210
Activation fee = $35
Swappa fee = $10
Paypal fee = $20
S/H + Insurance = $25
Total Costs = $300

Profit = $350

So you would lose the $35 activation fee if you sold a 16GB iP6 at full retail at my tax rate if you had to pay the $350 etf.

I'm just going to get one extra UDP line, flip the phone, and suspend the line until my fiancee is off her current contract, then I'm going to move her onto it. I'll take whatever profits I make from it and enjoy the unlimited I've got. I don't have the time to hunt down lots of phones and flip them and worry about having unlimited lines I can't get rid of.

Seems like the risks in doing this whole thing is now unloading the UDP lines to someone.
yes, but the risk is minimal depending on what you sell the iPhone for and your state's sales tax rate.
