You can AOL a suspended line but it reconnects upon AOL so the recipient would need to re-suspend if they want it suspended w/o billing.

Lol they live an hour away so I don't see me going down there daily. Maybe I could get them to open an account and get them phones shipped.
I would wait on that - check SDs, lots of people with phones that won't activate. You can get them to activate using an already active SIM from another line most times. Idk if the lines would ever show up or not, but if they didn't even better b/c you get a subsidized iPhone w/o a 2 year contract.
I haven't checked in awhile but aren't most of the problems because phones are arriving prior then the ETA Apple gave Verizon?
You should check SD b/c at least one poster was asking about your lines but you really should only PM or post on the giveaway threads as the mods over there will ban you if you post about giveaways anywhere other than the giveaway thread.
I can't say what the problem with the phones are, they are involving apple tech support, getting replacement phones, etc. but Apple can't figure it out and obviously, no one wants to involve Verizon.
So I assumed a Nationwide Talk and Text 900 with UDP, but when I go to apple.com it wants me to switch to MORE when adding a line. Assuming it's because I'm on an individual plan, can I still switch to a Nationwide Shared plan so that I can add a line through Apple with UDP?
Yes, you want to change your plan to a single line 700 minute family share plan with pay as you go texting. You can have more minutes if you are using these lines and unlimited texting too.
Can I do that through customer service or should I go back to the AOL number?

Either but remember as always with Verizon, if you get a rep that gives you the wrong answer, hang up and call again.
I would try calling Apple again to see if someone in engineering can help. Make sure it's escalated to a supervisor tech. At this point you might as well wait the couple of days for your window to open up. One thing I would be concerned about is the 14 day return period for the unlimited line. I'm not sure how long you've had the line active, but after 14 days there is no returning it. And it's really only 13 days as they count the day it's activated as day 1. btw.. how did you get the line activated without activating the phone? I'm assuming that Verizon did this for you?

Took some waiting but I think I got it. They made it effective tomorrow for the new billing cycle so as long as it shows up then I'm good.

You guys should receive a lot 6 soon. All stores in my area turn green and the lines at the store are getting long too. They know the Store received big shipment yesterday.
