Amen brother (sister?).That's not good. That's a potential problem with aol the line first.
Yes Jules you are right. Next aol I do, will have them put a pdi on the line and tell the buyer get a phone on it asap.
I am not trying to screw anyone here. I am the voice of caution. I am just telling you, be careful. You can't be as cavalier about these phone/SIM card issues as you may think you can b/c Verizon is not a GSM network.
Again - VERIZON IS A CDMA/LTE HYBRID NETWORK AND THERE IS A DEVICE MANAGEMENT DATABASE THAT ACTS AS A GATEKEEPER TO THE CDMA NETWORK AND FOR PHONES ON THE VERIZON NETWORK, THEY HAVE TO WORK ON THE CDMA NETWORK AND THUS, THEY HAVE TO HAVE WHITELISTED IMEIs IN THE DEVICE MANAGEMENT DATABASE.
Playing SIM card trickery may work if the phones and lines remain in your possession. But if you get rid of either, you need to be wary of SIM card trickery.
