Samsung has the crappiest radios and touchwiz is laggy and annoying.

Crappy radios. Maybe. But laggy? I mean in all fairness it if you want to say it lags you have to also say it lags because of the TON of features. The nexus won't lag because it's suppose to be free of much features. IMO the nexus 6 will be the worst nexus yet. And don't act like the nexus 5 etc didn't come with it's own problems...

Not many of which are useful to me. I like adding only those features I want to use which results in a device that suits me and doesn't lag.

Until you root it and then you can get features you can't get on an unrooted device.

I didn't get the Nexus 5 b/c I am on Verizon. Aren't you?!?!?!!?!

According to the reviews I read, TouchWiz lags a lot less on the Note 4 than on previous phones. Then again, it's still TouchWiz.

As for the Nexus 6, it's going to be rock solid. Motorola has been killing it lately and the Nexus line always has a ton of development for it, so you can throw a ROM on it that will do just about anything you want.

How soon have you guys waited until you AOL'ed a UDP line freshly activated from the Apple store? :apple:

I did it in the store this week to show the Apple rep how it's done. I have done three per day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week. As soon as I get the third, I dump all three to a guy that has taken almost all of my lines.

Why would you show the Apple rep how it's done? Why not just pick a data plan and not point it out to the Apple rep?

WHATS WRONG WITH YOU!?!? C'mon man use some sense! What did you want the rep to do? Give you an Apple shaped cookie because you're so clever?

Wow, did you just exposed the system to the man

actually, you have to show the Apple rep how to get it done if you are adding a line in the store. Yesterday, girl was saying "cool, you are paying $29.99 for unlimited while people had to pay $100 for 100GB". Replied to her that I have special old line and the conversation ended.

It's better than that. This is the same rep that showed me the option to pick unlimited in his hand-held. Also he processes my "Analyst Reviews" very quickly by saying all the right things on his floater phone. He also gave me the inside scoop on the delays from order to ready for pick-up. When they know they have a lot of people in line, they take their time scanning the box stickers in the back room to slow the flow of incoming personal pick-ups.

So apparently I'm locked out of getting another phone from Apple. Apple webpage states I've reached the maximum number of lines, but Verizon has confirmed to me that I only have 1 line on my account. I've done 4 AOL transfers. The last one just under 24 hours ago.

I would assume calling apple would not be productive? Verizon offered to add lines to my account, so it must be something in Apple's systems. I even went to the apple store, and their system came up with the cannot add line popup.

as soon as I heard of the "100% in store" method it was obvious that apple reps are well aware of the UDP option and have been from the git go (even though the originator of the 100% in store method thought otherwise) I don't think the end of the loophole will come from apple store reps

Trying to convince my sister to take an AOL line but she really wants to keep her phone #. Once transferred can she just switch #s between her old vzw line and this new one?

Yes the FCC requires that people be able to move their phone number anywhere they want to take it either in carrier or cross carrier

Really ? I didn't know that. What I do just transfer the old number to Google Voice. Well, just forward call & text from Google Voice to new number.

What's easiest way for her to do this?
Thanks

Well if it's a different account then she just ports it online from my Verizon. If it's under the same account. She would need to do the goolge port trick. Ports the number to google change it on Verizon after 24hrs you port it back. I guess the question really is, is how is the account set up.

The Google voice trick works like this. You initiate a port on Google voice. It takes 24 hrs to port. As soon as you initiate that port you go to your my Verizon and change the number. In 24 hrs your old number will be on Google voice. Freeing it to be moved everywhere whilst still keeping your Verizon account active with unlimited. This won't work on att, as att doesn't allow any account changes when there is an active port.
