I have a guy who takes as many as I can get, the hard part is getting passed the suspicious looks I get at my Apple Store now

I feel you on that. I've got a person too taking everything from me lines + phones. Suspicious enough that I believe a girl is trying to mess me up. But whatever we've got to take advantage of this before it closes at some point. I can't believe its still going...

Yeah for the first time ever a rep tried to open my phone for me. I said no thanks no one has done it before you don't need to either.

Has Apple been giving you the phones for free? The gift cards can be purchased for however much you need to spend, not sure I understand the logic of how a gift card cuts into your profit...

You could buy for the exact amount you need using your credit card, no services fees etc.

Unless Apple gives the gift cards to you for free than it cost to get them cost takes away some profit.

bizack.

Never seen any company charge for gift cards they are happy to "hold" your cash and hope you lose or forget the card which an amazing number of people actually do!

This is what I was thinking. I've never seen a gift card with a fee to purchase.

Did you notice activation charges on your phone bill ? Also there any issues when you sell the phone with the sim in box ?

My last bill I did because I actually activated them now I just sell them sealed. The guy I sell them to haven't told me of any problems thus far.

hmm.. wonder by doing that your skipping the activation charges. So you pdi phone aol the line, then sell the phone right ? Would that be the correct process? Have you sold the phone first before you aol a line ?

But you are selling the sealed phones to the same person who is AOLing the line, correct?

I wonder if the buyer is paying the activation fee then?

I don't pdi they update the lines with their phone as they take them over, I've sold a few before AOL of the lines but I think all of the phones are going overseas so they don't use the included sims

When i talked to the rep when someone was adding their own device to the line I asked if I was going to get an activation fee and they said no because it looks like the phone that we bought with the line was activated on a different line

how much are you able to sell the phone for, retail ?

okay maybe someone can help me. I called the aol line today to create a sub account and they said I shouldn't need to as I can have up to 10 lines on my account and I said 10? on a single line nationwide 450? she said yes. so I said I only have 2 on my account now but when im on apple.com I get error message saying ive reached the max number on my account type and she said that's on their end your all good here.

so today I went to a local apple store cause they had some 6 16s in stock so I was going to buy in store and their also getting the same message on their apple pay 5s devices, so the very nice rep {not the ones all pumped up and wanting to give u a high five in the middle of store cause u got a damn 6 16gb silver} said he would see what he could do to remove the block but nothing worked and in the end I just left and he said I should try Verizon again but if it works on their end I highly doubt they will help further.

anyone run into this? I only have 2 lines currently and says ive reached the max number for my account type.

and jules im pretty sure I haven't seen this problem on here yet but let me apologize in advance for not rtmft! haha ;)

Have you tried using a different Apple ID and cc???

I would call back and create that sub account anyway and move one of those single lines to it.

Don't explain why you want to, just tell them you want it. Move a line into it and if you have to give a reason say it is for who pays the bill.

Same issue here. Have a max of 3 lines. AOL'd 2 of them, but Apple still says I've reached my max. Called Verizon and they said nothing was wrong. They even offered to add lines.
