Have you tried using a different Apple ID and cc???

----------

I would call back and create that sub account anyway and move one of those single lines to it.

cant get that far to use a diff cc it happens after I put in my cell number zip code and last 4 of ssn

----------

Don't explain why you want to, just tell them you want it. Move a line into it and if you have to give a reason say it is for who pays the bill.

yea good call im going to call back in the am and have it done with a regular Monday morning professional rep

No I mean creating a new Apple ID and using a different cc with that account. But first just call back to create subacount.

oh I see haven't tried that but will do the sub first. im also wondering if there is anyway to delete old devices from my Verizon cause if you go to switch device and click previously on this account there are a lot of old devices including a 6 plus I sold on ebay a couple weeks ago. wouldn't that be gone by now? I still have the droid bionic on their too. just wondering if maybe its seeing that?

Same issue here. Have a max of 3 lines. AOL'd 2 of them, but Apple still says I've reached my max. Called Verizon and they said nothing was wrong. They even offered to add lines.

good to know im not the only one. I just cant figure it out. im thinking its cause the phone needs to be activated on another line then it frees up that spot. have you sold any of the phones from the lines u were able to aol?

Try converting one of your individual lines to a 700 minute single line family share plan and adding lines to it.

U would do that before creating the sub account ?
No, do both - pull one of your individual lines into a subaccount and then ask the rep to convert it to a single line 700 minute family share plan with UDP and payg texts.

Yeah. I'm thinking it has something to do with one of the phones I sold was not turned on. But even that line would leave me one open, which has me baffled.

I feel you on that. I've got a person too taking everything from me lines + phones. Suspicious enough that I believe a girl is trying to mess me up. But whatever we've got to take advantage of this before it closes at some point. I can't believe its still going...
As long as you doing vzw leg work by seeking out new customers and tying them into new contracts this will never go away.

So overtime with adding a line is our credit score taking a hit with so many credit checks?? Or is the verizon credit check an internal check on payment history? I'm wondering how all these verizon inquiries are going look on my credit.

thanks for info jules will do that this morning. also will the sub account go away once every line is sold and gone?

on a side note I haven't seen a single plus show up in my area in days. not even any 16s. guess we still know which is still harder to come by

Same here, we had a ton of them for a few days. Now it has been almost a week without seeing one.

There are no credit checks at all with the credit bureaus if you are an existing Verizon customer.

When you started with Verizon they did a hard pull credit check and approved you for up to 10 lines. Each time you add a line, Apple is querying Verizon's internal credit database but that is it. Verizon's internal database only has info on the number of lines you are pre-approved for and your payment history with Verizon. If you are being denied adding new lines, pay off your balance and make sure you do not pay late.

People AOLing lines who are not current Verizon customers are having hard pulls done.

Not according to Verizon. According to Verizon, they are not doing any sort of inquiry with the credit bureaus to add a new line - they are simply looking at their own internal database to review your payment history with Verizon and the number of lines you are pre-approved for before they let you add a line.

Not everyone taking these lines is a new customer. Some are existing Verizon customers who are terminating off and sometimes on contract ME and TDP lines to take the UDP lines.

I just AOLed a line to a friend who currently has an on contract UDP individual plan line but cannot add a new line. She took the line from me b/c she is worried that when her upgrade is due in January the BB Method won't work for her to upgrade to a new phone. She is a good friend so I gave her the phone and the line for what it cost me. She put the iP on her current UDP line, AOLed the new UDP line into a subaccount and suspended it w/o billing. When her current UDP line's contract is up, she is going to unsuspend the new UDP line and port her number from her current UDP line to the new UDP line, which will terminate her current UDP line. So no new customer there.
