hnamanh, You said you had an issue with ur order with the 700 minute talk and text plan? What error did you get?

Hotshot035... You don't even have the same plan as hnamanh. You said in your post that you have the NW 700.

hnamanh and Jules had the ANY MOBILE TALK & TXT SHR 700 plan

Jules ended up getting a NW 700 plan from someone and was able to add lines.

You asked for someone to clarify and I'm telling you that you'll be fine if you can place the order. Not sure what else there is to say. You're making it real hard for anyone to want to help you if you're not going to listen

Bye for now fellow heros - Keep Hope Alive, Keep the Faith, Keep bringin' those affordable iPhones and Verizon UDP lines to the masses!!!!!!!! See you again once I have ordered my new GIGANTIC Nexus!!!!!
OK I am back. There literally is no info at all about the Nexus 6 preorder. I guess I will start checking at midnight and then again in the morning and afternoon.

Is there any way to order it on your phone - I searched the playstore app and I don't see it but I can find it on my PC using chrome.

----------

The written T&Cs are silent about the $30/month thing, so you could probably argue that the information on the website isn't part of the contract.
When I updated my current UDP line I did not get the asterisk but in my CA the min $30/mo term is there.

If they gave you a month of data at $29.99, technically they "accepted" the terms and thus are changing them if they go back and claim you need to spend $30.
I agree that it is a good argument that they agreed to a modification of the written contract by giving you the UDP on the line.

----------

Jules Jam said that the 700 MIN talk and text plan wasn't compatible?
That one should be fine - do a mock order than you will know for sure. It is the Any Mobile Talk and Text and the 550 minute Talk that are the problems.

Good to know, thanks. I'm going to look into a business account a little more. If it's worth it I will change my account into a business account.
I have a friend who tried to open a business account. She is a consultant and her business is an LLC but she doesn't have a B&M location for the business and no bills in the name of her business so the business doesn't have credit on its own and Verizon said no to letting her open a business account.

She makes quite a bit of money but her consulting business is all on-site for a major corporation so she has no need to rent office space. She offered the tax records of the business, which grosses over $350k/year, which she distributes to herself as salary pretty much as the business has few expenses, but they still said no.

----------

no problem at all and better nicer reps with a dedicated business line to avoid the standard CSR's
Does your business have a B&M location or bills in the business name?

My biz account was started back in 1989 so I have a ton of billing history, high credit score and B&M but they have only used internal credit info for the past 20 years or so once you're in you're in so to speak (it's actually my buddies biz but he uses AT&T so they made me the "king" of the V account decades ago)

Got it thank you. Yeah, without a B&M location and the business having its own credit history b/c utility bills, etc. are in the business name, I don't think you can get Verizon to approve a business account.

yea I checked a couple threads and google has released no info as to times or carrier availability. kind of odd. least give us a time.

Lots of folks here are able to put their SIM into a tablet or MiFi without any issues. Just never call into Verizon or go into a store while the SIM is active any of those devices. People have had UDP lines taken away if Verizon reps see them active in tablets or MiFis.

So yeah. Just tell him it's at his own risk

Thank you for the info. That's what we were both guessing. We both know not to get Verizon personal involved at all with UDP lines.

Actually V has admitted that FCC regs prohibit them from restricting what device a subscriber uses their SIM in. Now if you call V and try to add a jetpack or tablet to a smartphone line they will say it's an incompatible device plan and they won't do it w/oa plan change but if you SIM swap they have to allow it under FCC regs and I read 2 articles from 2012 (as I recall) where V basically admitted this

This is also good to know. Thank you for the info.

Can you suspend all the lines on an account w/o billing?

Does anyone know? Or do you at least have to have 1 line active?

I called and was told I could so I did. Will let you know if there is a problem.

I have done this once, and I didn't have a problem. I don't think you could add a line if you didn't have an active line though... There was some hiccup I had- I think that was it, but can't quite remember.

Thanks! yeah to add a line you need to log into apple with an active line.

I found a "minion" to add an account and now they need all of the line suspended until I have filled up my account, lol! Thanks mom!!!!

Yes to all of the above.

I am literally steaming mad over a negative feedback I just got from an eBay buyer of my unlimited data line. Many many lines sold with positive feedback, and this person lies, and says that the line didn't have unlimited data, and that I was just trying to get rid of my contract. Yeah.....:mad:

uh oh... just tried ordering online and there's no more unlimited iphone data plan option

Is it bad that at this point when people say "this glitch is going away" or "I can't pick unlimited data anymore online!" I don't believe them? It's happened over 10 times and it's never gone away for me

what in the world! I'm getting a different screen. How strange :(

It still shows up for me, not that I'm interested (unless you want to PM me :D). My guess is that VZW is planning to close the window this week. Already some online orders came back with 2GB plans, and there are spotty reports of the "glitch" no longer working.

Something tells me that these "glitches" are silent promotions. VZW has to have known this was out there. It isn't as if it was around for a day or two. They accomplished what they wanted (getting a bunch of accounts opened up, and iPhone 6s sold), and they are closing the window until the next time they "accidentally" leave it open.

Did you choose your family plan on the step before?

I chose "Add a new line".

I've actually danced this dance a few times last week and everything was fine.

The only difference with this account that I am trying to purchase this on is that the NW 700 minutes was changed to NW450. Not sure if that would make a difference or not. If it does then I guess I'll have to change it back somehow to the NW700. That's just my theory :/

Yes, I think you need to be on the 700 minute plan
