The only difference with this account that I am trying to purchase this on is that the NW 700 minutes was changed to NW450. Not sure if that would make a difference or not. If it does then I guess I'll have to change it back somehow to the NW700. That's just my theory :/
It's a huge difference. It's hit or miss with the individual plans. NW 450 is an individual plan. NW 700 is a FS plan.

Do you have UL text with the 450 minutes you are trying to add a new UDP line too?

I am literally steaming mad over a negative feedback I just got from an eBay buyer of my unlimited data line. Many many lines sold with positive feedback, and this person lies, and says that the line didn't have unlimited data, and that I was just trying to get rid of my contract. Yeah.....:mad:
Are you AOling the lines as 450 minute individual plans or are you just AOLing them off of a FS plan?

B/c if it is the latter, some of the AOL reps take it upon themselves to change the plans. My advice is to ask the person what they want the plan to be when they get it in terms of minutes and texts and then you have the AOL rep change it into that b/f you AOL it. Take a screen shot of the plan and send it to the buyer so they can see what they are getting b/f they try to AOL the line.

----------

Is it bad that at this point when people say "this glitch is going away" or "I can't pick unlimited data anymore online!" I don't believe them? It's happened over 10 times and it's never gone away for me
no, it is not bad. The reality is that you and I know the system well and we know why some people get the option and others don't. Also, people not as familiar with the process tend to make more mistakes than those who have done it multiple times.

----------

I'm only offered the NW 450, 900, and Unlimited but can still see the UDP on the next screen.

Yeah...

I don't know what the buyer is trying to get out of this. Didn't ask for a refund at all. Didn't ask me to take the line back. I think due to the number of AOLs I do- sometimes 15 a day I need to leave the plans alone. I have done over 150 AOLs so far with no problems other than this. I provide detailed instructions to the buyers as well. Maybe another seller trying to sabotage. Still very angry about it, though.

Talk. I'm a little annoyed the person I AOLed from didn't activate the $5 250 text plan. I'm not sure I need 1000 texts for $10. Actually, I know I don't, but don't yet know whether or not I'll get more than 50 texts if I stay at PAYG and make this my main phone.

that would be pretty crazy to take on a 2 year contract just to sabotage you.

----------

Then consider yourself lucky! At this rate, you will be buying a new house, lol!!

Not really... I was meaning that they are lying- I'm actually sure the buyer still has unlimited data.

Sorry if this was just asked and answered within the past few pages, but I stopped reading these threads a few weeks ago after spending waaaay too much time trying to find an iPhone 6 in stock in my local Apple store, Best Buy, etc. Local inventory seems to have caught up with demand, so I'm trying again.

I know there were various ways to buy an iPhone 6 a few weeks ago and keep unlimited with Verizon. Which of these are still working? I'm trying to help my sister keep her VZW unlimited. Preferably, she'd like to just upgrade her one line, but if we have to add a line and then drop her current one, I suppose she'd consider that. Thanks in advance.

The apple.com add a line works just fine... Or you can just upgrade and swap sins from your previous phone and it SHOULD work.

Apple.com still seems to work, but it's probably in the process of being closed. It's been more than 5 weeks.

My friends with the individual UL talk & text plans could not add a new UDP line. I wonder if that is the issue - UL texts on an individual line.

upgrading a UDP line using the BB Method through apple.com leaves you with a terrible line error.

Wow, you guys are fast.

When I try to just upgrade the one line via Apple.com, it forces me to choose a new data plan. Are you saying that it's OK to do that, as long as we activate the phone with her current iPhone's SIM card? (She actually has an iPhone 4s now, but per the advice in these threads, she called and had a new nano SIM sent for an iPhone 6.) Thanks.

By line error, I assume you mean pending activation? As far as I know, so do all best buy methods. Always did for me, anyways. Only way to get rid of it was level 2 support

No it is worse - it is not a pending activation it is a line error. It's discussed on the SDs thread.

Call AOL department.

guys I just engaged in some SIM card trickery against my better judgment. I suspended a line w/o billing and then popped an active SIM card from another line into the phone on the suspended line.

----------

my buddy got this screen when he had unl talk and text but as soon as he changed to 700 min and 1000 text he got the "good" screen options again
Ah, good to know!!!! I thought the UL talk and text might be the problem!!!!

not 1 iPhone restocked in my store - worst - restock - ever

----------

Also - is anyone else annoyed by the 50 extra apple store employees that seem to stand around and do nothing except talk to eachother rather than help you out? A simple store pick up that should take 5 mins always takes me 25+minutes.

Now to focus my attention on procuring a Nexus 6!!!!!

The time is near!

I am strongly considering going into Verizon tomorrow to check out the Turbo. I'm really interested in that device for some reason. Not sure if the screen is big enough for me though.

Mind sharing the instructions you give? Do you have a set statement you send all of these goofballs?
