Yes, as long as you didn't authorize it. But the way the CA reads, you have to object and Verizon has the option of curing that. So what happens is that people have to file an Inactive Pricing Request (IPR) and they get their UDP restored.Contract question-
The forum is full of stories about "I went into a corporate store and they changed my UDP to 2GB", etc... as long as you are under contract and current, wouldn't this be considered changes to the term of the contract which would let you demand out without ETF? Makes sense in my head, but wondering if it is true in experience as well.
The problem is that they have only about 14 days to do it. After that it would have to go up the Verizon corporate food chain even higher to get it back. If you couldn't get it done, then your option would be to terminate the contract and fight Verizon in arbitration over the etf bringing in the Verizon reps as witnesses, etc. to argue that you didn't authorize the change. Obviously not something most people are educated enough to do. But if you were, you could do it.
Moral of this story - AVOID VERIZON STORES LIKE THE PLAGUE IF YOU HAVE A UDP LINE!!!!!!!!
