Nope, used mine. My name was listed on the scanner beneath hers for eligible people to pick phones up.
Ah, the family that flips iPhones together, stays together!

Check this out, I think it might be new? I had some sort of authorized status before, but I don't think it had as many privileges.

Jules will I get charge for etf from Amazon if I suspend the line without billing?
idk ask amazon.

thanks for all the advice so far and for those who pm'd me about taking over an AOL. Here's the predicament I'm in. Basically what I'm trying to do is take over a UDP account, load it onto a nano sim that I have and put that into my current 6+. The rep I talked to in the aol dept. said he couldn't confirm that that would work but he didn't think it would.

Before I make a move on taking over an account I would like to know if anyone knows how I could get this to work. I should state that I don't want to have to buy a new phone and the UPD needs to work in my current active 6+.

I know this may be a tall order but any advice (even someone saying this won't work) would again be greatly appreciated.

There should not be any problem.
You will be doing an AOL on an UDP.
The Agent will ask You for the sim # and to do a restart on iPhone 6+.
And You will be good to go.
Thank You.

Is the line eligible for an upgrade? Or do you mean transfer your UDP line's upgrade to the basic line?

It's not eligible for an upgrade now, I guess I meant transferring the UDP line upgrade to it when that's available. Basically I'm wondering if there's going to be a problem with doing anything with that line down the road because it doesn't actually have a device associated with it.

I would be able to do this for you. The reason it won't work EASILY is because your 6+ is active on your account already. You can't activate a phone on a line when it's already active on another line.

How I can make this work for you: I'll send you an ALREADY active sim card in the mail for the line that you assume. This way, you can just throw it in the phone and it will work. You can't activate a sim card only, you need to activate the sim card with a phone.

Why not have us activate a SIM we have and then ship it to you? Or you can AOL the line with a PDI and then they can activate your phone/sim on the phone.

Not true though, because the phone he is going to try and activate is already active on Verizon. Can't do that.

jdougal... one step ahead of me

For the 450 minute plan plus a thousand texts and unlimited data what is that monthly price? I also have a program through my workplace that I get a certain percentage off of a Verizon plan as well I believe it's 17%

Frustrating day. Finally got a SP 64. Went to pick up, unable to activate.
Took more than 40 mins, finally got it pushed through. Came home and found out, when the CORe dept "pushing through" the order, somehow, UDP fell off (how convenient). end up with a TDP on the account. Bye Bye my iPhone, you're going back home…..

Just trying to get an idea of what my monthly cost would be. Thanks to anyone who can help!

Check out the attached pictures. Unlimited data feature itself is 29.99 per month.

Wow that was easy. Just converted all my sub accounts to Loyalty Plan - $15 a month 30 minutes talk / no text. Took awhile for the friendly rep to understand what Loyalty Plan was, but she was able to figured it out. And Jules, thanks for the tip on selling it as mifi, already have 3 potential customers. Hopefully I'll be able unload it by tomorrow. Forgot to mention, all lines kept their UDP :)

Thanks for those quick replies guys!

Another question...

Since I am on an AT&T next plan, if I pay the phone off early does that mean the contract is done and I won't be hit with an etf? I can't find anything about this online. I'd like to end my contract with at&t and since I'm not on a 2 year contract I'm kinda hoping there won't be any etf associated with it since the phone is fully paid off.

thanks again guys for the options and advice. I'm currently on 8gb +thethering for 50 bucks less my 20% discount and I don't think in my 4 years with verizon I've ever gone over 5gb so i'm just going to weigh my options for a day or two and decide if it's worth it taking on a UDP.

What I do owe you all a debt of gratitude for is the 30/15.00 plan I read about on this thread. I hate talking on the phone and have only ever made cellular calls for emergencies so this right here is gonna save me 200 bucks a month.

I think You are right about Att next.
Before taking the step, I would suggest having a chat with the Att rep to confirm it.
Thank You.

If you want to create Loyalty Plan, you need to create a sub account for each single line ? You can't merge into one family plan right ?

Appreciate the info and quick responses and answers.

Looking to move on an AOL, now. Any suggestions on an Android phone to pick up on Swappa just for the AOL? Won't even use it other than for the AOL. Has to be 4G, right? Thunderbolt?

Mine was already in a sub account in family share plan. She went and manually changed them one by one to the Loyalty Plan.
