I just got this message...
"Cannot add a new line.

You have reached the maximum number of lines allowed on this account type."

I have one spot left on my account. I hope it's just a temporary verizon issue. May be a holdover from an AOL'd line?

Has anyone come up with a solution to this warning?

Taking a look at the AOL information on the Verizon website yields this sentence:

Note: Your service assumption will be subject to a credit check. You may be required to switch to current pricing and promotions. A security deposit may also be required.

So does that mean if i were to assume an AOL and UDP they might take it away from me while they are processing the transfer?

Nope.

No. They'll let you know before hand what your features will be.

Thanks for the quick replies!

I'm currently looking at the sheet that I was given at work and it shows i get a 17% discount off plans. The ones it's showing on this sheet are " Nationwide Single Line" and "nationwide family share plan", these plans that you guys are giving away the UDPs are part of the family share plan correct?

So how many individual lines per account is one permitted to have?

Can have up to 10 lines. Only "per account" limit is how many lines you can have on a family plan. You can only have 5 lines per family plan, and can only have one family plan per account.

Yes

Would I be able to change that to a nationwide single line plan? the only reason i ask is because it shows 450 minute plan with unlimited texting as $49.79 a month plus the 29.99 data fee as well...

just trying to figure out a ballpark estimate of what i will be paying a month with my discount through work.

Yes

'Up to 10 lines' is that including subaccounts or would that be an additional ten lines? So if I currently have a family plan of 5 lines on a main account and another family plan of 5 on a subaccount can I add an individual line to each with the loyalty plan or would I just convert the family plan to individual loyalty plans? Thanks!

Yes you can change it around any way you'd like

You can only have 10 total lines across all of your sub accounts.

Sorry for all the questions, but thanks for your replies.

I just wasn't sure if i could change back and forth between a family and single nationwide plan.

is 49.79 plus the 29.99 data fee a decent deal?

Nvm

For the 450 minute plan plus a thousand texts and unlimited data what is that monthly price?

$39.99 + $10 + $29.99 = $79.98

I also have a program through my workplace that I get a certain percentage off of a Verizon plan as well I believe it's 17%
Idk how the work place discounts work. Maybe someone else does.

Frustrating day. Finally got a SP 64. Went to pick up, unable to activate.
Took more than 40 mins, finally got it pushed through. Came home and found out, when the CORe dept "pushing through" the order, somehow, UDP fell off (how convenient). end up with a TDP on the account. Bye Bye my iPhone, you're going back home…..
They didn't call CORe to push an activation through - they called the Verizon Activation Team (VAT). Anytime VAT is called, you lose UDP.

Moral of this story - if the phone won't activate, cancel right there in store. NO ONE HAS EVER WALKED OUT OF AN APPLE STORE WITH UDP INTACT IF VAT WAS INVOLVED.

CORe is called for Analyst Review when you have too many pending applications or are a new Verizon customer, etc. Purely credit issues.

VAT is for activations issues and it never goes well. You need to cancel on the spot if the phone won't activate.

Wow that was easy. Just converted all my sub accounts to Loyalty Plan - $15 a month 30 minutes talk / no text. Took awhile for the friendly rep to understand what Loyalty Plan was, but she was able to figured it out. And Jules, thanks for the tip on selling it as mifi, already have 3 potential customers. Hopefully I'll be able unload it by tomorrow. Forgot to mention, all lines kept their UDP :)
Finally!!! You guys are moping around here whining that no one wants your UDP lines and I spoon feed you how to create $45/mo unlimited MHS lines and it takes you 2 days to finally do it, lol!

Obviously they are not really MHS lines and people need to be careful about calling Verizon with a MiFi or tablet on the line b/c the line does have voice minutes.

Also - you cannot AOL those lines with a data only device on them. And the recipient needs either an already active SIM card or a 4G LTE phone to activate a SIM card on the line. I refuse to AOL those lines to people w/o phones b/c I am giving them away locally to friends of friends kind of thing and I don't want to hear any BS from someone if they don't have a phone on the line when they call Verizon. I warn them and make sure they have a phone b/f they get the line.
