to fix the setting in passbook....Go to Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>Off. Set the date one year ahead. Try to update the apps again. If you get an error message, go back to the settings. Correct the date and time (set automatically) then go back and try to update the apps again.

I need to buy you a beer.
Worked like a charm.

Thank You

Thanks! This worked for me as well. Now just to wait for something useful to try and use this with. I've got a flight this weekend but it is with US Airways and they don't even have an app.

Wow that date trick worked really well...

It directed me to the ticketmaster app, but I wasn't able to send any of my upcoming events to Passbook. Would love to use it for Book of Mormon next Tues! :D

Thanks!! It worked

Used this method and all is well in apple land!

Thanks!!

Tested out Walgreens and wanted to see how the "location" feature worked.

Looks like it pings the location server often and could hurt battery life. Any one know how to turn off the location for a particular passbook card?

press the " i" in the lower right hand corner of the Walgreens app and turn it off.

Whenever I open passport and click on the "app store" button at the bottom of the first page it says "Cannot connect to iTunes." I have tried sucessfully to get into iTunes via its app, and under setting I checked to make sure my iTunes name and passowrd are in fact entered.

Any ideas? Why do I need to get into iTunes for Passport at all?

Same problem here.

I opened passbook, clicked on "App Store" and just got the message, "This app is not ready for primetime." What could that mean?

How does apple display Starbucks in all the adds for the new features of IOS6 but it not work? Or even have a passport version app ready on launch day? Apple is going down the toilet without Jobs.

Everything worked perfectly on hour seven of an OS launch when Jobs was alive.

I'm looking forward to using it, but do we hav to have the actual company app on our phone as well? That would seem counterproductive.
