pending reservation email

Just got both emails and completed purchase. ETA Nov 3rd. Seems like we’re all good, stand down lol

What if we reserved one and then were able to order another?
At first it said I reserved it, just remember thinking “wtf is this, reserved?”
Continued to try to order one and finally went through with a shipping date of Nov17-24.
I think the reservation is Nov3 though, what should I do?
I got my order confirmation email and then a reservation email a hour later but not the final relink to pay and check out.

Apple will eventually process the first order and you can finalize the order if I understand things correctly.
Same thing happened to me.
Wife was able to get into the App Store right away and purchased hers. I didn’t get the app to refresh for another 5 min and when I went to complete my order I get the we have a reservation for you because we can’t contact your carrier. So I proceeded to order again and chose a 256 model and it went through with Nov 17-24 shipping time. I’m wondering if the 256 gb order will prevent me from using the reservation.
question, I placed an order on AT&T after getting this pending email earlier. now I am screwed ... my reservation on apple is for a black 256gb while on at&t I have a silver 256gb. problem is I am on the next program and since I have a pending order on att, it doesn't reflect on apple anymore. if I cancel my order on att, how soon will the system update to show my at&t next eligibility?
Well cancel the second order then
You have two choices, its not rocket surgery.
Wait for Apple to catch up and communicate with the carrier and you'll get an email so you can finish the order and then get it early. You then cancel the second order.
Or
Ignore the first order, it will eventually auto-cancel given what the email stated.
Well that’s what I was hoping but was thinking it won’t let me order two phones on the same wireless number.

Nov 10 vs Nov 17 delivery date to me is a huge deal - Thanksgiving family arrives on November 17.
sigh .. at least both are for nov 3 ... I guess I just need to be happy that I am getting the phone regardless of color on nov 3rd
You can call and they will price match Apple. I know it doesn’t make sense.
just wanted the space gray more than the silver. the silver was still shipping for nov 3rd on at&t when I placed the order.
Those of you who haven’t gotten an e-mail - does the system still say you have a reservation if you attempt to buy now? It’s no longer saying that for us and we stupidly didn’t screenshot our reservation number, and never got an e-mail, so have no proof that anything is reserved
I still haven’t received my second email from Apple to complete my reservation. I also might just order from AT&T since they’re still showing Nov 3-10
I have no idea, you may have a point where when you try to finalize the first order, it will fail because of the second order.
Personally, I would have waited because of that very thing, but wait and see if you get that second email. Perhaps the safest thing is just hang on to your second order and work with that.
