I put my order in through the AT&T Premier site at about 7:45am PST... I still got the confirmation email that says "as soon as September 21st" like everyone else. This sucks. The wording really makes it sound like... "you COULD receive it by the 21st" with the underlying "but that's not too likely" looming.
Did anybody order thru Premier and receive different wording than the text below?
"Your iPhone has been reserved and should arrive as soon as Sept 21, 2012."

I was told yesterday that i can merge the line into my account...but who knows.. a lot of misinformation out there
Well, with the risk of sounding gullible, I'm still holding out hope that these are correct and the carriers just had a decent amount of stock. Also, my AT&T account manager told me that the wording usually means I should have the phone on the 21st.

Mystikal, I'm having the same problem. iPhone 5 doesn't even appear in my companies premier store, but my friend at another company had no problem. Mine is giving an error just when entering the e-mail address...only reason I was able to get through to my companies premier site is because the AT&T site redirected me since I'm on my corporate network.
Typical ATT. I got screwed last year and waited 14 hours over two nights for the phone. They won't even let me give them my money. This is insane.
Can you link the Premier store page the for iphone? It wont even show up for me.

I was finally able to place my order a few minute ago. Apparently, I was among the first people that was able to order by phone after their system went down earlier today.
I suggest all of you who are having trouble ordering through the premiere site to call 800-331-0500.

I'm not sure how to get directly to the Premier store... I just logged into my AT&T account (how I pay my bill) and it immediately offered to check upgrade eligibility, then when I clicked next, I was in the Premier store.
Yes, depends on the type of account. I got a similar message to Mystikal's. I couldn't order through Apple, they said my account type required that I contact my provider. Finally got through on AT&T's Premier site, though. No guarantee of 9/21 delivery date, though.![]()
