no seams and less holes after all?
Seeing the battery doesn't cover the bottom and top part, nor does the logic board: I am still hoping these leaks are from a prototype body with exact sizes, but details to confuse us. I hope for a final model with:
- no bands in the rim, one part (tube slice welded to backplate), all antenneas inside, under the back windows.
- bottom with nicer layout, no big holes and screws, speaker under glasswindow
- frontpanel also hole-less, with touch home button, and underglass speaker
- windows at back in matching colors of metal, maybe.
The question remains wether the metal body would be liquid metal (can rims of that size be produced?) with back of LM plate, or stainless plate. Or if composed of slice and plate of more traditional materials such as stainless, or titanium. Ofcourse all aluminium unibody machined from a slab (so no welding of backplate) is still an option, if the alloy is hard enough, maybe hardened after machining...
Leaking or letting leak an internal part fitting and externaly correct size product, with details modified on purpose: A bit like testing production cars with stickers and fake parts glued over it. The case industry gets what they need, while keeping the design more or less secret, and competitors completely in the dark, cause it all could be a hoax after all. A one time strategy, but if they have true unibody for iphone6, then that's OK.
