Sadly whatever the design is, Apple won't be able to supply the demand. IMO, as badly as I want it, I refuse to move to it if it does not have a 4"> screen. No way no how!!

Seriously hope not everyone feels that way. Those big Android phones are just too bulky. I like the current size of the iPhone and hope it never gets bigger. I hope the bigger screens don't catch on for phones with Apple.

It looks like the iPod Touch and iPad 2's design. It's nice, and it wouldn't stop me from getting one, but I don't like the idea of all three devices having the same design. Kinda boring, no? I like the iPhone 4's design better.

Please somebody answer my question:
Can I buy it unlock without a contract or I have to have a contract?(From the US I mean)
Thanks in advance

THIS depends on if Apple releases unlocked ones when they come out......they took about 10 months to release unlocked iphone 4's so hope for the best...

ugh. that's horrible. How are you supposed to hold that with those awful curved edges?? The iPhone 4 design is at least very ergonomic, with flat edges that not only make it spectacular to look at, but very comfortable to hold while talking.

boo on these curved-edge iPhone5 rumors! :(

Thanks for the reply.
I hardly can wait until Tuesday :) I already waited for a long time to buy an iPhone. I don't think I can wait for another 10 months or so for the unlocked one. Maybe I buy one and jailbreak it if I have to :)

apple currently sells unlocked gsm iphone 4s in the US for $649 and $749.
new models will most likely also be available unlocked for similar pricing.

iphone_5_mockup_3gs_4.jpg

Why is this mockup so small? Where did they get dimensions from? All the case leaks we've seen are much larger.

QUICK poll, im going overseas soon so should i keep my iphone 4 and get....

iphone 4 = 375 + samsung infuse 4g = 300-350 (for emergency.... ie theft)

or

Iphone 5 = buy for 650

hopefully im not excited about the iphone 5... really dont want to spend 650 on a phone. LOL......

Galaxy s II looks like iPhone 3 GS

Looks like the galaxy s II :D

As I said above. The Galaxy s II looks like an iPhone 3 GS including the treatment around the front bezel. There is no tear drop tapering. Oh damn I just fell for a troll.

I really surprised that more people aren't complaining about the rocker style volume control on the tapered edge. I really don't like the feel of the current gen ipod touch (which actually does have two separate buttons.) The square sides of the IP4 and separate round buttons are a much easier design to use.

If I recall correctly, the dimensions of the leaked iPhone 5 cases showed a device that is shorter than the iPhone 4 as well as a little wider. In the video the article links to, this is clearly shown.

At first glance I thought the same think as you that it looked the same size but watch the video and you'll see that's not the case.

I guess if we have time to fuss about Apple rumors, somebody must have the time to build a physical mockup of iPhone 5...

iPhone 4 in my opinion was and still is the sexiest phone on the market. If you don't bury it in a case, it is so slick, so slender, simply amazing.

This iPhone 5 mockup is interesting but perhaps a step backwards in style. It strikes me a little boring for some reason. Perhaps is a different material was used instead of the matte aluminum.

The black glass contrasting against the chrome frame on the 4 is just perfection.

I don't see why people really think they're getting rid of the center button. That's like a trademark.
