amen...I also like the guy who wants to know what case to put his portenzo case in...reminds me of the old Sat night live skit with Phil Hartman as the anal chef that would put the garbage in a sealed bag and then another sealed bag for that, etc...
I agree with you all I definitely think there's a better choice of Ipad 2 case styles out there other than the smartcover - which do just as good a job - in some cases i think better because they also protect the back!

There have been days where I can't get the site to load in Safari but Firefox works fine. Weird.

What is funny is that DodoCase actually has a DodoCase bag to put your DodoCase in. I guess you need the bag to keep your case from falling apart.

Thanks for the link! However, that price and the all white is jus too pricey for me. Personally, I'll stay with the original and get morocco and just get the magna + strap and looking at a Dark Purple since it looks more burgundy, or the dark blue. The all white is sexy but I think it is too prone to show dirt and wear down the line..
Thanks to this thread, I returned my un-opened Apple leather smart cover and bought one of these instead for virtually the same price. Just decided that the apple cases were not very good value when there's cases like this one out there. Appreciate people's feedback here!
Hey, that's the exact same combination I ordered (morocco, magna + strap, purple lining). I sure hope they don't mix up our cases!
I don't have an issue with waiting, last year I waited 6 weeks to get my 3g iPad.....
What irks me, only slightly, is when something is advertised to be released and its "actually released" much later.
If you know you will be ready to ship March 28th or April 1st, don't claim orders start shipment March 21, and yes, I already know quality takes time, just estimate your production capacity better people.
That being said, regardless, I'm seriously considering ordering a second case because they're so beautifully crafted.....

The thing is, I do think they started shipping on the 21st, but just a few at a time. Darin came on and said that orders were "trickling" out, with a "flood" to start later. I realize that doesn't help you get your case faster and that everyone is excited for these, but I think that shipping has indeed started, as advertised--it's just not moving as quickly as many would like.
Anyway, I will have to wait another week or two since I upgraded my order. As I've said several times, I just threw something cheap, but protective, around my iPad and will wait as patiently as possible. Rest assured, I'm checking the website FREQUENTLY and am so anxious to get the case. I guess, in general, I don't feel too put out by having to wait just a little longer. It costs me nothing (I don't think I've even been charged yet). And again, I'd feel a lot differently if we were dealing with a big company with factory output and unlimited resources. But that's just not the case with Portenzo (at least, I assume it's not!).
I was charged when I ordered, the money was taken immediately, I though debit/credit purchases were said to be charged upon shipping?
So weird.........
