i guess the thing to think about is we are just a small number of people on the forum who have preordered.. wonder how many people out there that are not on this forum.. i would just like to know are we going preorders first or what? my order went in on the 15th.. i haven't got any email notice of changes or shipment.. nor have i heard anyone else getting emails.. thats what has everyone concerned..

"Availability:: Levant 1-2 Weeks/Morocco 2 -3 weeks" That's a little better now! I'll order hopefully that'll be my TRUE window for MOROCCO!
 
I have no problem waiting as I want an alano anyways lol so no sweat off my back + waiting more than a month for a muzetto may be in my future too lol

Maybe you are but some others are not, so just realize that. I get over 150 emails a day at my job (are about 75% of them pointless CC's and one word responses?) YES - but I still have to reply because its my JOB - I cant say OMG and get away with it.

Its unacceptable for me to take someones money and then not respond to any of their customers emails.

What about the customers who did not stumble across this thread and havent heard anything from Darin in 3 weeks?

I know Darin will respond eventually and we will all have the cases soon enough but good customer service goes a long way and I do not feel any of us are getting quality customer service.
 
What do you guys think? White ipad2 with a Deep purple interior or Dark Blue linen.. Geez I wish there were pix of the other colors already...lol
 
How or where do I change my order to add the camera hole and the elastic in addition to the magna-grip it already has???


Decided to keep my order and upgrade to the white case, as it'll look better with my white iPad.
 
Took the plunge! After obsessing over this decision for the past week and a half, I just ordered an Old School II. Hopefully I'll have an iPad by the time it comes... =/ Stupid Best Buy...
 
I wonder if the new availability posted on the website is for new orders or all orders
 
FYI, for those interested, the contact form on the website specifically mentions that switching the cover material from Morocco to Levant will cut production time in half. While I dig the Morocco better, I think they both look great overall, so I don't mind the change if it means quicker shipping...just sent in my request.

Thanks for the link I let them know I wanted to add a camera hole and elastic band to the magna grip as well as that I upgraded to the 23&1/2....!

23 1/2 looks sexy in and out, but it looks WAY to prone to get dirty and show the dirt..I'll stick with the Morocco personally..

Are you talking with 23 1/2 case? As they dont give choices for linen color. But I am still hoping they will make mine with sky blue.

No I know that one doesn't come with an optional interior color. I was asking opinions for the Morocco with either a Dark Purple or Deep Blue Linen to match with my white ipad 2. I won't get the 23 1/2 because all white tends to show more wear and dirt easier.

Levant looks too cracked. Maybe with enough people cancelling, Morocco will become more available.


I think from one of Darin's posts is that they are/were waiting for a shipment of the Morroco material before they could move forward with those orders.

If someone has not gotten an email response form us in 3 weeks, then something is wrong and we did not receive it, or it was caught in our spam filter. We have answered our emails on an almost HOURLY basis before the iPad 2 launch. Yes, we will be back to hourly email response soon, but there are no stock answers for a temp agency person to copy and paste for our customer email responses. Liz is one of our bookmakers and she is adapting to the nature of our customer emails, and accurate responses to our customers needs based on thoroughly knowing our capabilities and our mission.

Again, I do sincerely apologize for communication delays, but I can't simply turn it over to an answering service. It would only lead to more emails (!?)

I originally thought this also, so I've been dragging (literally) my Twenty Three And A Half around for about a week now, and purposefully seeing how much it can take, and testing it's 'clean-ability'. I can definitely say that, so far, it has exceeded my expectations. I'm still grinding it in to every dirt pile I come across, I'll keep you posted.

The REAL answer as to why It's named the Twenty Three And A Half? Because when I was designing options for a White iPad, I just got overwhelmed with a sense of satisfaction and joy, and I said: "I bet I would rattle off at least twenty reasons why I love what I do."

I came up with Twenty Three And A Half reasons. (I'll post the list once I transcribe it) I know, it's a little mushy.... but that's life!
