Portenzo iPad 2 Case: Now a Smart Cover

What did you select as your shipping method. Regular was upgraded to 2 day. 2day to overnight.
 
I sort of wish I had kept my Levant order instead of upgrading to the 23.5. I'd probably have my case by now! Looks like I'll have to wait until next week. Fingers crossed, the 23.5 will be worth the extra wait!

I emailed asking about leather and they said to add my email address to the list to hear about new products and materials.

It's on the homepage of the website.

So nothing really beyond the choices on the site for now(which granted are a lot). You'll probably have to wait until they get back on track with current orders and things slow down...

Just having scored an iPad 2 this past Sunday (32GB wifi white), have been impressed with just how much smaller it seems with the Smart Cover than my old iPad with the Apple Case. The only concern I had was with scratching the back of the iPad 2. Will solve that soon with the SGP skin for the iPad 2. Should be here in a couple days. :D

Who else is pissed they were penalized because they ordered Morocco without warning that it would take over a month to ship?

It sucks even more I asked to changed to Levant but they must have never got my email and people with order #'s 2500 spots higher than me are getting theirs.....:mad: :(
 
Could someone please tell me whether the "Seventy-Six" is being offered as an iPad2 case?

I am not on Facebook, and that appears to be the only place where you can get any response from Portenzo. I emailed them asking about getting one and haven't heard anything.

I'd like to order one, but have no idea if its being offered, and how to get an order in. I don't mind waiting, but i would be nice to find out!

Just delivered to the mailroom this morning. Will take some pictures and post here. Don't have my iPad at work, but I can at least give some initial impressions on build quality.

I concur. Portenzo claims that Morocco sold out too fast. But to whom did they sell these to? Hard to imagine that no one on these forums or Facebook was one of those people who got a Morocco.

You do know that they make cases for other devices besides iPad 2, right? :rolleyes:

yes but who is buying them? no one on these forums or on FB. So it would have to be ipad 1 owners who are not upgrading or iphone.

Also, when a new device launches you would think supply would be ordered in advance especially given pre-orders. So still wondering who is owning these morocoo ipad 2's.

must be some secret society.

Lol maybe, but even before the Pre-order date, all I heard was that Portenzo didn't have enough material for Morocco cases, I think we are not seeing any users with Morocco not because Portenzo is using it with other devices, but the shipment didn't arrive on time. :eek:

I'm probably one of the first few who bought the Morocco (purchased 3/3) it should be coming in the mail soon, I live in Canada so i didn't get the 2 day shipping but it is being sent back because of confusion with my order
 
Based upon the fact that treegloo shipped me a custom order in 10 days, I would like to cancel my paypal order (they have the money) for the Pre-tend-zo....

But since darin has gone dark, there is no way to cancel. I defended them here quite a bit, but now the lack of communication is unacceptable. I would help with the morrocan situation, as I would change to Levant, but he's not answering.

And really can't sell it, as I engraved my name on the front.

Color me screwed......
 
I ordered my case about 2 weeks ago and figured it would be well over a month before I'd get it and to my great surprise I got an email last night that my case has shipped and was upgraded to 2 day shipping.

vveeerrry helpful.... I have no desire to be on facebook. If coercion by virtue of information is what is happening, just another reason not to join.

Do I think Portenzo made some mistakes? absolutely - should have changed the promise time on the site. he tries to satiate some with an offer of new shipping and no one gave them credit.

Keep getting the case right Darin, and ship when you are ready. BMW has made some mistakes in the last 20 years and it's always when we rushed to marketplace. Screw everyone upset here and give them their money back. The first case out here that is perfect - no matter when that happens - will triple your order bank.

people need to grow up and get a cheap cover/back from ebay, apple, wherever and wait it out. I'm running a smartcover and dodocase backcover now, I can wait 6 months if I have to. I don't care. Or continue to press Darin for a refund. Darin, take a few minutes of everyday to process refunds. Get the haters off your back on off this forum.

But please people,calm down, no one has cancer here or sold you a piece of swamp land...it's a friggin ipad case for God's sake.....

He was able to cancel/refund my PayPal order in under 24 hours after I emailed them a day or two ago. They seem to be getting on top of refund requests at least.

All the information you are requesting is on Facebook and being updated several times per day.

You want to be above Facebook but still want the benefit it provides.
