For those that got shipping notices, did it include a tracking number?

I got a shipping notice on Monday, but the "Here are your Tracking Numbers:" section is blank. Also, the My Orders section of their website doesn't have any tracking information either, but shows Shipped under the status.

EDIT: I sent them an e-mail about three hours ago, but it hasn't been answered yet.

mine had tracking number in the email.. strange
 
I can't believe my case hasn't been shipped yet.. It has been 2 days since I ordered and no updates no nothing. I am a good paying customer and this is how I get treated! I think I'm going to cancel and go with the Dodo. This is unbelievable! :D

+1 My shipping email also had the fedex tracking.

Maybe your typing style, and politeness/helpfulness made me think you were a girl, as on the many interwebz forums women tend to be more helpful/nicer, at least in my experience? lol.

lol.. well.. i can understand that.. im just a helpful person in general.. i guess it comes from just being involved in IT profession with customers.. you have to be "nice" most of the time lol.. now my wife she can be a loud mouth so you would know if she posted lol :D

LOL!!

I was disappointed about hearing of the delays / long leadtimes, but after seeing the videos of reviews and comparisons, I decided to stick with Portenzo anyway. The wait will be tough.

Laying the Portenzo Flat

I see a lot of pictures of the front cover folded back so as to sit the iPad 2 at an angle. Are there any issues with folding the front cover back completely to sit the iPad 2 flat?

Hey I was checking out your video on how to add the multi gestures to the ipad 2, looks awesome, however what if you use a Mac to sync and there is no iBackupBot for the mac to edit the backup. Any suggestions? Thanks.

That's so long ago the order doesn't even come up when I log in to the Portenzo site.

I placed my order 2 nights ago, order number is over 9500. He has a lot of cases to make. I don't see how the 3-4 week window could be accurate if you are still waiting on your March 12th order.

I'm not sure the front cover can fold back completely so that the iPad is flat. My cover is still pretty stiff because it's still new. Maybe when the cover loosens up? But right now it'll only stay up at an angle.

Darin had me put in a null order(something they would not fulfill) to fix a PAYMENT issue, and as of 7:00PM EST last night, the order number was 10637, so over the course of one day they received over 1,000 orders?

Business sure has picked up for them......

My gen 1 case can do that now because the binding has collapsed. It doesn't look torn or anything, but you can tell the binding didn't hold up because it can lie completely flat when folded back.

I think I remember reading....about 10,000 pages back:D...Darin saying something about making the case so that it would stand up at an angle when they first started...then people started requesting it to lay flat...then the demand shifted back to at an angle....so they started making them at an angle again.
 
Earlier today i got the longest respond from them, i think if they were to just send out a mass email to everyone sort of like this one explaining the situation they could avoid so many emails and people being upset...

Your case is getting shipped out today because I am making it today– as soon as I finish emails, I am putting in the frames and packaging them to ship.

There was a delay because of the incorrect corners/engraving. We have hired new people and new people make mistakes. Instead of sending many incorrect but perfectly usable cases, we chose to take two days to fix the mistakes and send out cases as they appear on the website. This is quality control. For handmade products in a small company, this takes time.

You are receiving a 23.5 with clear corners and engraving. The interior will be natural linen. We let maybe 3 people change the interiors, realized it would become an issue (not to mention delay production) and decided to no longer offer it.

Communications is limited because we are all making cases.

If this is true, then I have one of three 1-of-a-kind 23.5 cases o_O*

These are one-of-a-kind in every sense of the word, more so than a custom ordered exotic, which I'm sure many order basic-style cases, with exotic outer material, such as many stingrays and many boar, unless they allow you to change the inner material, although for 300USD and upwards, I'd expect to be able to designate whichever feature I'd wish for
 
actually i didnt think it was going to cut so easily.. and it just went.. then i noticed the 23.5 was right there near where it ended.. i was like.. DOH!!.. hehe..

What's up with the wooden frame in your review? I has quite a few holes and deep ridges in it and looks very uneven.
Is it missing glue? It looks bad. And does the rubber bumpers stick out above the frame?

I ordered a Morocco, red interior, Magna-Grip Cover with a camera hole on 3/24 (still waiting) but still don't have a good feel for what the Morocco material will look/feel like. I know that is not genuine leather and am a little concerned that it will look/feel too cheap.

"Look and feel cheap?" I find that totally funny. have you seen the pictures in the thread? Have you read the reviews? Seen the videos?
