I think the PowerBeats Pro has quite a big problem in manufacturing given their aggressive announcement for availability in several countries in multiple colours and then scaled back to offer only black at launch, and then limiting the pre-order only to US and Canada. It's lucky if the rest of the announced regions will actually get it in June.

Apple never stated that they would be available in all countries or in all colors on launch day.

Better not announce things if they are not ready... But this is the new Apple :(

When did Apple announce that they would be available in all countries on launch day?

Hint: they didn’t.

I paid it in the hope expedited delivery would surprise me with a release date delivery.
[doublepost=1556908381][/doublepost],

That is certainly what I was led to believe. I guess from now on when I head "ships on X releases on Y" I will just assume that's not to be the case. Until I order an iPhone and it is to be the case.

The reason people thought there was going to be delivery on the release date is because that is their practice with MOST of their products---it's the experience I've had when ordering iPhones, AirPods and iPads---I assumed, not unreasonably, it would be the same with Beats Pro. The fact some people are roasting folks who were expecting to receive this product on launch day is baffling.

It’s not a practice with “most” of their products. And yes your assumption was unreasonable.

As much as I envy everyone that preordered, I am holding out for the other color options.
Can’t wait to hear/read the reviews

My delivery date is May 28-June 4th, I am pretty sure it will hit my local Apple store on release date. If that happens I will cancel my current order and reorder for store pick.

I think these look great and I bet they will sound great. I love my AirPods, but I LOVE the sound of my PowerBeats 2...

I like it that Apple always has a soft spot for resellers. To make the Powerbeats Pro only available in the US and Canada is fantastic. You will easily be able to sell them in the UAE or China for 3 times the US retail price. Time to make some money. Thanks Apple. :D

Apple, probably: you’re welcome. We’re going to release them for the rest of the world just as you’ve bought 20 of them with the intention to resell them expensively to other countries. Thank you for your purchase. :D

Really?

Give me three products with advertised pre-orders that didn't deliver on release date.

That's me... Just ordered.
AirPods fit me, but not very well with intense exercise.

I've had the PowerBeats before and they fit nice in the ear; however, the rubber line connecting the two earphones really pulls and tugs the skin on the back of my neck and these will fix that problem.

I think with the slow roll out either quality control is higher than normal and we will see. Refined product or there are issues and it’s a bottleneck as a result.

The May 10th date I think changed but Apple is a PR machine and so they will likely remain silent unless they have to on delivery changes.

Plus it could have been delayed some due to software related issues which they have had several of from 12.1.3 through 12.2. The beta for 12.3 has many connectivity issues across all my latest iPad pros and XS Max devices. So they are messing with the WiFi and cellular in some way.

The very day Beats announced the Powerbeats Pro there were several articles on the internet and the press release itself saying only black in May. Then nearly a month later on the day Beats announced the preorder date and ship date many major websites that had missed the May black only “asterisk” in the original announcement where busy writing articles as if it was a surprise when it was actually “quietly” announced on day 1.

People nothing to see here. From day one they said black only in May. People will get on release day. People freak every release and every time it’s mostly unnecessary. Take a deep breath my god

325 in Canada. Theses things better sound spectacular. That getting up towards the price of sennheiser momentum’s @399 either of which is a lot to pay for headphones who’s batteries will die and become useless in a couple years.

Delivery estimates already at June 6-20. When I put them in the cart, yesterday, it was still May 20-June 2ish....but got distracted and forgot to check out.

There seems to be quite some demand for them. Any sense whether shipping times will drop?

My card has been charged, so hopefully moving quickly

That's new. Usually Apple only charges upon shipping.
