My MBP is coming to the UK, normally the package heads west. This is the first time it has headed east.So remember that UPS flight that mentioned earlier that is going from Shanghai to Anchorage and then finally to Louisville? UPS 33 (Sydney > Shanghai) and
UPS 81 (Shanghai > Anchorage), both flights are the same plane, a Boeing 747-400 and it has now landed in Anchorage (at 6:39 PM local time in Anchorage). Take a look at the 1st picture. I am anticipating/expecting that within the next hour or two that my tracking will be updated with a scan at Anchorage with "Import Scan" or "Arrival Scan." Still nothing at the moment. Take a look at picture 2.

@bahmed - Initially I did order an i9/560 on 7/17, but cancelled it on 7/19 (was still showing ‘in progress’) and placed an order for i7/555. The second order was charged the next day and shipped one day later.
Hey,I'm not 100% sure what's going on with my order (15", 2.9GHz i9, 32GB, 1TB). Ordered at 16:29 on the 12th with the back to school offer. Delivery date is 20th to the 27th.
The £0 value authorization has dropped of my credit card with no other transactions from Apple and my order is still showing as "In Progress". Wonder if me selecting "Dispatch items together" has screwed it up as I won't get charged/tracking information until both items are combined in the UK?
Definitely unusual. Like you, my MBP has just landed at Louisville. Now looking for flights out of Louisville to Europe and seeing what times etc. There is a slight possibility of delivery tomorrow, but looking more like TuesdayMine is also taking the unusual route East from Shanghai for an ultimate destination in the UK.

Mine's on the same plane. Seems like it missed the one to Cologne by 3 hours, so I'm also guessing it's probably going to be Tuesday.
Hopefully it'll arrive tomorrowI ordered a maxed out 15, and I guess I'm one of the few with FedEx. It went from Shanghai to Memphis, with no apparent stops, in 23 hours. I know there are some long range 747 cargo planes with relief crews onboard, but still. That is a loooong flight. It was scheduled for Wed, but if things follow as in the past, it just cleared import this morning and it looks like Monday.
Hopefully it'll arrive tomorrow
Mine looks like Tuesday, has been sitting at Louisville since this morning and not moved. No flight plans that I can find for flights from Louisville to Europe until tomorrow.
I know what you mean. First time any apple product I have bought is heading eastwards. (Looks like 1.5 times the distance to travel rather than heading westwards)That's weird that it goes from China to the US then to Europe. You would think it would go from China, westward to Europe. I can never figure out their delivery structure.
I don't know, they usually don't. I have had an apple product sit for the weekend in Louisville, and deliver on Monday. Hopefully they will for you, just depends on what type of shipping apple shipped it at.
Good question, my hunch is to say no, but I could be wrong.
I ordered my i9/2.9/32GB/2TB on the 16th, paid for expedited shipping and it arrives tomorrow. I’m thinking of returning it unopened though since I am not keen on the throttling issues and have a 2017 that works fine.
Mine has also been sitting in Louisville since Friday morning. Cleared customs this morning and doesn’t have a delivery date anymore - it used to say Tuesday. You were dead on with it sitting in Louisville over the weekend. They removed the scheduled delivery though, so I'm not sure what that means. It's a shame, I won't be able to pick it up from the store till Saturday either way

You were right, it just sat in Louisville
