Actually, Apple is using UPS' Worldwide Expedited service. World Ease is just a part of Worldwide Expediated that means that customs clearance becomes easier. IMHO.

Finally my order that I place late on July 18th is on its way. I did pay the extra $8 for expedited shipping. My delivery date is Wednesday, July 25th by 10:30am. It is Shipping via FEDEX.

Fedex. That is unusual to see. Usually, Apple uses UPS to ship their products. My iPhone X came via UPS. This is just conjecture at this point, but maybe paying the extra $8 for expedited changed your carrier from UPS to Fedex?
You should get a tracking number at some point just like normal, mail-to-home orders. This is just conjecture on my point. Take it with a grain of salt.
Go here: https://www.ups.com/WebTracking/track?loc=en_US and click track by reference, put in: your country, zip code of the apple store and where it says shipment reference put in the phone number you gave when you placed the order.

It's still in Shanghai - someone else posted a shipping notice earlier and it showed the laptop having to go through customs twice - once in China and once in the US.
Thanks for that clarification. Now if only it would just get onto a plane. Couldn't find any flights leaving for Anchorage from Shanghai that has the UPS flight code that is leaving either today or tomorrow.
This is old, but is a good place to look for the UPS flights with apple products on them. Looks like everything is in the air, so you probably have to wait until tomorrow for movement.

Did you get expedited shipping? A lot of them have been going to Japan before going to Anchorage. That might be why you can't find it. For example this is the plane that had mine: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS109 . If you look at past flights it goes from Shanghai to Narita, Japan to Anchorage to Louisville. It does that every weekday, so yours might make this exact trip tomorrow I would bet

Thanks for that link. Totally forgot about it. It helps to narrow down the flights. However, my MBP is in Shanghai and the only flight that is leaving from China that is on that list is the one in Shenzhen, where they make the iPhones.

Sorry for the confusion, but is there a particular flight on that website that you are telling me to keep an eye on? Or are you telling me just be on the lookout for a flight on that website whose departure time corresponds with what is on my UPS tracker?
I just got a departure scan from Louisville, but the only UPS flight I see from Louisville is to Portland. Hmm, maybe it is being ground transported and not flying? I'm getting it delivered to Delaware

It could be ground transported. I think it is going to be on a flight to Delaware, it is just that we can't see it yet. Check again tomorrow.

I agree. The majority of the time Apple uses UPS. My Beats Headphones came FEDEX as well. But I assumed they used fedex for that because it was not coming from China.

I'm really curious why some configurations are shipping out much faster than others. The delays on the 16gb MacBook Pro 13in configurations seem unusually bad compared to say the 15in i7 32gb ram configuration someone else posted.
Apple really dropped the ball by not making available a 13in base model on day one with 16gb of ram that doesn't cost $3,000.

Yes, I think ours are on the same flight based on the UPS updates. The Mac I'm waiting for was ordered on July 17th but I was going back and forth on which config to get and canceled the same exact configuration that I ordered on July 14th. The net change in Apple's expected delivery date was from July 26th to July 27th. I started looking to see when authorized resellers like B&H will get their 16gb MacBook 13in configurations and it's listed as early August on their website.
I don't know why but seems like Apple has been holding the 16gb models back for some reason and there's a large shipment of these coming this week to the US that ours is caught up in and not getting out of China due to really bad weather and logistical incompetence.

I am hopping my MBP is on this flight. I know that the Fedex Distribution center is in Memphis. We will see in another 10 or so hours. Sadly there is only one flight per day between Shanghai and Memphis.
