That’s 100% on you. If your employer isn’t giving you a raise you need to either provide them a better value or find someone willing to pay you wages you think you deserve.

I don’t stay at jobs anymore unless they are willing to fork over wages that I think are what I’m worth. The economy is doing great and finding someone hiring isn’t an issue in most industries.

The real business dealing started with Clinton and getting China into the WTO. That is the point where we really started to spend money and imports rose significantly.

Nixon did get the door open however China's roadmap for internal development was very different. Joining the WTO really changed that.

lol that stopped a LONG time ago, look at DJI and tell me who they ripped off, then tell me even one U.S brand that can even touch them. Sounds like you're stuck in 2001, Apple's strength is in their software/hardware synergy, you can't rip that off even if you tried. Making a kids toy that looks like the iPhone isn't anything Apple is worried about.
 
Ill take price increases on imports over socialism(had a liberal president won) any day of the week.

But apple is really charging way too high already. Cracked the back of my xs and the out of warranty replacement cost is $850+tax!

lol the only time I see millennials complain about taxes is because they don't like Trump. Nobody cares about income tax, state tax, federal personal and corporate taxes that literally strangled this country's economic productivity.

Actually up until Tesla, China has been forcing foreign companies to 50/50 joint venture with a Chinese domestic company. That means any technology that is brought into China is subject to be stolen. Its not a 2001 thing, its a 2019 thing.

Most republicans don't like trump, but will take trump if it means not having a Democrat president who pushes for socialism, open borders, bending over to mionority groups and screwing over the majority of the population.

I didn’t vote for trump, I’m just telling you he’s going to win. I’m a minority, only whites can be racist according to libs. Bernie should have won the primary last time. They paid him off.

Probably the closest to the truth for anything posted in this thread so far.

Even if the tariffs, against all logic, miraculously brought industry back, it won’t help blue collar workers one bit. No industry in their right mind would retool now with manual labour in mind. Automation is the only choice.

Actually I'm a chemist who works full time making good money. Nice try though. Apparently the point is whooshing over your head. Most people on government assistance have jobs, but they get lumped in with the handful of welfare queens by conservatives. And of course they're on government assistance even though they have a job because of the previously mentioned, maximize profits at all costs.
