The colors are dull and blah and look like they're a color-scheme for a 1970's era public bathroom intended to just blend in and be ignored, where the vivid colors of the original imacs pop out and look like fun.

And the boxy box aesthetic looks like 1970's industrial design. Not something stylish or modern.
He only saw the front of a prototype model and was told about the colours being similar to the iPad Air. Afterwards, some design guy did what he could with this information. The iMac won't look anything like this. It was the same with the AirPods Pro Max, Prosser came very close but not 100%.

Prosser is a poser. His intel is more often incorrect than it is correct.
I'll just leave this here...

Whether he's right or wrong about the look of the Mac Pro, I am intrigued how much it will cost free of Intel. The Mac mini isn't quite beefy enough for my needs, but I'm not in the several thousand dollars game.

I don't think they would do the colors like in the pic because that is too much color.

Same here. The rumors have been that there would be a new Mac Pro akin to the current one and a new smaller one that mimics the Cube. It'd be great if they could price that new one as a middle of the road solution with monitors to match.

Is this new stacked Apple silicon Mac Pro likely to replace the current cheese grater one or supplement it?

He has 78.2% accuracy according to AppleTrack. I think that's pretty good.
Accurate on what? That a new iPhone and macs are coming this year? Well yeah! He has been wrong on all long shots and this is what matters most - predicting things that nobody expects or only few believe and being right.

Obviously the new iMacs are going to be large 5k touchscreens with optional $399 stands.

I honestly don't believe he is correct about the Mac Pro at all. They are not going to go from this huge expansive super tower that is universally praised for its expansion to some small trashcan again. They've learned this lesson.

Now if they're going to make a Mac Pro and a Mac Pro Max then sure that's certainly logical and I accept that, but I'm not going to accept them axing what the current Mac Pro represents (huge expansion for professionals). It's just not happening after last time.

Silver, Space Gray, Black and maybe the blue that matches iPhone 12/AW6 would be neat. I think the pink, green and Sky Blue are horrible for something like an iMac. The bright colors were fine on the first iMacs because that was the style Apple was all about back then…they were funky and interesting and Apple really needed a way to stand out from PC’s of the day. I know they use these pastel colors on the iPad Air but those are just different machines altogether from a desktop computer.

So will the new iMac just be a iPad put on a Apple display mount with macOS installed and some extra ports?

Hope the Mac Pro Silicon will have 32gb ram at minimum, support 4 displays and have more than 256gb for storage by default

Ming-Chi Kuo is the best. And yet he's rated lower than this guy? And is only like 9th according to MR.

I'm willing to bet the support arm for the iMac adopts the more rectilinear design language from their Pro Display XDR's support arm (although maintaining the simpler hinge connection at the back of the computer).
I think so as well, I am assuming the hinge will be kept simple but reflect the more rectangle approach as well (the look on prosser image look a bit off - rectangle screen but same old hinge); dream would be similar hinge to the magic keyboard (so that you can adjust the rotation of the screen as well as the height), but it would probably require more counterweight...

one can only guess same difference as before. that the imac, at least at the higher end, will have a better gpu and perhaps cpu.

It's always annoying that Apple ties those together.

If you want a better CPU and more GPU cores, then you've got to buy an integrated display.

If you don't want an integrated display, then you have to buy a less capable CPU/GPU.

The fact they use that joke of a guy for this platform for articles is
ridiculous, plus I wouldn’t give that guy any attenation or media coverage. His YouTube channel should be taken down again
