I will love to see how Apple implements their GPUs in the high-end iMac/MBP/Mac Pro. The M1 has a great GPU (GTX 1050 ti equivalent) but it's only great in comparison to other iGPUs.
Cause a 27 inch equivalent apple silicon imac compatible with all professional software some people need and some external interfaces, is not likely to happen this year. By the time that’s available ... you can earn enough with the current one to afford the new one ...
But you shouldn’t buy a 24 inch imac now.

Hi same problem here with jack, I have a 2USD usb sound card for speakers and headphones, so you can access them or have both connected at once
I've been reading MacRumors since 2002. That's exactly why I'm here but this YouTuber is incredibly inaccurate and often wrong therefore I like they've added to the start of this article, "Hit-and-miss leaker Jon Prosser" which helps people understand the context but I'm saying as a daily reader of this site, at some point you have to cut someone lose until they get more accurate rumors. Rumors don't have to be true but they're just feeding this person to never improve and sending more traffic his way.
I'd be very surprised if MacRumors' income is tied to posting rumors anymore. MacRumors (a rumor brand about Macintosh) could easily just be a Twitter account like LovetoDream or any of these other public leakers. The value of MacRumors is the community, it's very well ran YouTube channel, tips & tricks, price alerts on apple hardware & accessories and industry news. Rumors about Macs are hardly this thing that they have to post or their site revenue will be jeopardy. MacRumors the brand greatly exceeds the value of rumors about Macs. I wouldn't be opposed to them re-branding to be honest.
I’m all for the nostalgic iMac colours but if the half size Mac Pro rumours turn out to be the new Mac Pro shrunk down and not a separate line of products I’ll be annoyed.

Hit-and-miss leaker Jon Prosser has today alleged that the upcoming 2021 iMac models will offer five color options, mirroring the colors of the fourth-generation iPad Air, and revealed a number of additional details about the Mac Pro with Apple Silicon.
In a new video on YouTube channel FrontPageTech, Prosser explained that the redesigned iMacs will come featuring options for Silver, Space Gray, Green, Sky Blue, and Rose Gold.
He shared renders of what these new color options may look like on a redesigned iMac, but noted that he has yet to see the rear of the new design, so his renders are purely speculative beyond color.
Prosser explained that the range of color options aims to capitalize on nostalgia for the original iMac, which came in a selection of iconic colors such as lime, strawberry, blueberry, grape, and tangerine.
Redesigned iMacs with slimmer bezels and Apple Silicon chips have been expected for some time, but it is unclear exactly when they are expected to be launched this year or if both model sizes will come out at the same time.
Prosser also outlined a number of additional details about the upcoming Mac Pro with Apple Silicon, supporting previous rumors from Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. Gurman has said that the new Mac Pro will be less than half the size of the current Mac Pro, putting it somewhere between the existing Mac Pro and the Mac mini. The machine is speculated to feature a mostly aluminum exterior and may "invoke nostalgia" for the Power Mac G4 Cube.
Prosser has now said that the new Mac Pro will feature a design that looks like "three to four Mac minis stacked on top of each other," and provided renders of the purported new look.
Internally, Prosser says that the Mac Pro will be designed with the "compute unit on the bottom" and a "big heat sink on top."
Late last year, Bloomberg reported that Apple plans to launch the new, smaller Mac Pro with Apple Silicon by the end of 2022, but it could arrive as soon as this year.

I did not mean anything negative by it. I just meant I think it’s brilliant marketing. Especially when it comes to a specific demo that maybe doesn’t have computers targeted specifically to them and to fit a certain decor.
Not to say makes wouldn’t also like it. Sure of course.
I need a Mac Pro "mini" with space for at least 3 or 4 3,5" SSD that are in my current Mac Pro. I don't want external chassis dangling outside or a cabinet with noisy fans.
I posted similar on a YT video recently, basically a cromed VESA arm (and base heavy enough to balance the display) holding the computer. Would be amazing! I miss the hight adjustment on todays model.
Nobody is buying the green products they sell now so they are discounted. So Apple will double down? Not likely.
Before I get hype'd on a "Mac Pro", I want to see a fully cored "Pro" M*X silicon. I need to see support for more I/O lanes if Apple isn't going to offer hotswap bay positions built in.
A stack of Minis isn't likely going to cut it for what Pro customers will want out of desktop/tower. As it stands, with the current Mini, you just make a "stack" of USB/TB peripherals anyways.
I've honestly thought about just shucking the case, and mounting the board it a larger housing with better cooling/air-flow. Building in the powered expansion hubs and storage enclosures into that as well. If Apple doesn't want the supply chain hassle of making Towers anymore, just sell us the raw SoC boards to mount in custom enclosures.

Could this be a sign that Apple is getting "fun" again? The colours from days past... the iMacs, iBooks, and then the iPods... they lost some of the funness along the way, becoming extremely conservative. I think they were at a stage where they needed to look less fun and more professional in order to earn the trust of businesses. With that now behind us, they can return to having some fun.
Yes, they have had different colours of the iPhone, and went slightly nuts with the iPhone 5C, but it still wasn't the same type of funness from the earlier days.

and add Product Red. Helps fund needed medical care in poverty areas plus it'll give Apple an indication of demand for continuing the Product Red program in the future.
The best leakers always confirm with at least one other independent source. In part to not look like a doofus but also not to endanger their sources.
