Prosser: Next MacBook Air Could Come in Colors Similar to iMac

I feel like colourizing these is obvious, but I LOVE reading it. It's past time they had some fun again. They're finally being more up front about the delineation of their products again. iMac, iPhone 12, and iPad Air already come in a bunch of colours. Makes sense that their entry level/student laptop would get the treatment too.
For anyone who wasn't an Apple user before the last decade, they used to have a lot more fun with their designs and change things up every couple of years. Several versions of the iMac were iconic. It made updates WAY more fun. It's time to put some fashion back into the line up.

Interesting if we get a new iBook. That would kinda make sense if it’s a general purpose mass market laptop for the masses for everyone that need a basic laptop or a Chromebook, especially as really young kids are now using computers for distance learning. Computers are a necessity for everyone now.
If they look close to that render and not the lighter pastel shade with the white bezel then 👍
That’s really uncalled for. Calling someone a garbage can is unnecessary. Saying they’re not accurate, unreliable, their opinion isn’t worth two cents, etc. is one thing, calling someone a garbage can or garbage… that’s too much.
I'm guessing they do the matching iMac colors, with white bezels an darker shade on the lid. Bet they also drop the "Air" from the name and just call them MacBooks again. They'll start at a higher price (probably $1199 or 1299) and the MacBook Air will hang around at 999.
Don't forget to change the bezels from black to white on the redesigned MBA

I am kinda impressed with the current line of laptops. The trackpads and palm rest areas don't get washed out, unlike on the Thinkpads.
Is the M1 Air getting updated soon? I was really looking forward to purchasing one, and thought the update won’t be until ‘22?
Apple needs to go all the way back and come out with a choice of a rainbow mac that has all the colors.
Yup. by the end of the year, every new computer on the market will come in a range of colours.
I expect (and also really hope) this design will only be used for consumer focused laptops like the MBA. I'm a Pro user and really love my space grey and black bezels.
I think the biggest issue is his attitude and lack of ethics. Sure, one could be wrong, even analysts like Kuo and Gurman gets it wrong at times. But not only not admitting it, and also insisting he was right to some degree? No thanks🙄
I can’t see why does he deserve the exposure and why are we encouraging such behavior by giving him publicity.
That Heathkit (man I miss them) reminds me of the Heathkit 512 byte computing monster I got to program in ASM in my high school electronics class.
That’s because the iMac is not a “Pro” Mac. Wait for it on the more powerful 27”-32”.
