However, USB is version 1.1 so the maximum transfer speed is 12MB per second while the others are 480Mb iPhone.
There's a 16GB iPad. The market for 16GB is still there. People aren't going to get more GB just for the hell of it.My guess is they didn't make an 8GB 3gS, so why would they make a 16GB 4g.
Calling this one a fake. I feel Apple will come out with a 32GB and 64GB 4g iPhone
I agree, it doesn't make sense to use a fully-functional unit to do a burn-in test on the LCD screen this late in the development period. It's probably just a diagnostic screen of some sort.My thoughts are that it is mighty late in the game to be doing a burn in test on the screen if they are going to announce availability of the iPhone HD sometime in June (if indeed the other rumors are correct). I would have thought they would have completed this in the spec testing stages.
Perhaps it is a quality control test?
It's all about the software powering this baby. Will iChat truly finally come to the iPhone (I hope!). How does the camera with flash work/how are pictures and more importantly with that higher-res screen do we get 720p video recording?! How fast is this beast and what is the new battery life like? WWDC never looked more exciting! Don't let some shady leaks kill your buzz
Mobile iChat? Other unannounced software features?
I still don't like the new design. It's not Apple-like.
I'd wager a lot that there *will* be a 64 GB version. I'm just hoping it takes the $299 price point. Given the prices of RAM in the past year (they haven't dropped much), I'm worried that 64 GB will cost $399.

I'm sure there are others here who are far more knowledgeable about this, but could a functional explanation for the seams be that they are photo-sensitive?
One of the only gripes I have about my 3G iPhone is the camera, and the need to touch the screen to take a picture - I seem to blur the shot more often than not. Given that we can expect a better camera on the new iPhone, light-sensitive switches on the side of the phone might make both portrait and landscape shots easier...with zoom provided by the volume switches.

I'm a vietnamese, so I'll take this honor please.
What he's saying: The phone may look small on video, but it's big in real life. It feels very sturdy and solid in your hand. Glass on both front and back. Back camera has flash. This new iPhone is somewhat longer than the old one. He doesn't see any way of opening it beside prying it out. The screen is locked. From his guess, he says the phone can only be keep enabling by entering a code after time intervals. The width is narrower then the old phone about a couple mm and longer a couple mm. On the right is the microsim slot. Very solid and heavier than the old phone. It's a more manly phone and look more modern than the old phone. Thank you. That's it.
Because the iPod lacks the whole GSM/3G-modem-part, you know, more available space for storage.I do agree the iPhone needs a 64GB option since the iPod touch has that option.
You guys are missing the point! It's not just a smaller iPad. It has a phone built in! AND a camera!![]()
Not much Mac news these days, like you know 10.7 or the next iWork, iLife or MobileMe improvements???
After simulated the text in different screen resolution and compare to the images. It's sad to acknowledge that a quad-sized screen resolution (640x960) is not possible to be happened on it.

It's more sad that unchanged resolution (320x480) is also possible as the font clearness is kinda similar to the screen in the video.

Even if the screen shown in the video has a higher resolution, it seems more likely that it's only about 1.5x (480x720) for a reasonable pixel scale up without affecting current applications.

You have it backwards, the 4g now looks like it belongs to the apple family. Look at the mac's, apple runs the glass to the edge's on the iMac and MBP's surrounded by aluminum. Now they've done the same thing to the iPhone.
