Who is the developer? I can't find it....

This is the only app I've found to see the battery cycles without jail breaking. Another way is to download ibackupbot to your PC.

Found... And tried.
I'm comparing to ibackupbot .... it seems to give same results on both my iPad air (98.6% health) and iPhone 6 (more than 100% health after only 7 charging cycles).

Ps: PC ?!? what PC? It's been a while since a PC entered my home :D

Yes, you can return a car, it's called the Lemon Law (varies by state). If you buy a car, and something is broken 'out of the box' and you have it repaired 3-4 times and the problem isn't resolved, you either get a *brand new* car or you get your money back. And Tesla will actually let you return their cars within a 90 day window (but Tesla is awesome).

If Apple really had a problem with people returning products X number of times, they would put a limit on how many times you can return a product. They're not losing money - those phones are redistributed as *new* phones or eventually refurbished phones. They don't go into some pile of 'broken' phones, never to be seen again.

And yeah, if you pay 800 bucks for something that Apple advertises as being perfect (listen to any Jony Ive Apple commercial), and your iPhone has one or more defects, you have a right to return or replace it. That's why there's laws (at least in the United States) to protect the consumer.

So please, stop making ***** up.

Did you not read my post, I said if something as little as a rattle and they return it anal people like the one on here returning there phone 6 or 7 times would. So no you cant just return a car for something minuet as a rattle. I understand the lemon law but its nothing like Apples return policy. Carry on your anal ways bud I feel sorry for ya. **** happens dont expect perfection or people like you will always be miserable :)

I never said I returned an iPhone 6 or 7 times. I also don't expect perfection. I expect what Apple advertises at the above average price point they're selling their products for. The more people that accept mediocre products, the more mediocre the products become. Remember when Apple was ready to completely go under, and Steve Jobs was brought back? Apple's products were ridiculously well made (a few years after his return and new product lines were introduced) and the level of customer support was insanely great. Apple doesn't have to compete as much now (relatively speaking), so they don't have to provide that same type of experience.
Successful companies are empathic towards their users. If you're proposing a lack of empathy in the form of 'accept what you buy, even if you find it unacceptable,' you're proposing a business model that isn't sustainable (good example is the number of people ditching cable because the product and service both suck). So in that sense, I feel sorry for you for not expecting better.

Huh?

I think Apple provides an excellent experience online, in store or over the phone:apple:b what exactly is your issue?

While that may be true for Macs and other of their products, iPhones aren't retailing for any more than high end smartphones and guess who's still providing better services?

Used iPhones don't count as they simply hold better resale value.

My wife and I have been using iPhones since we got our first iPhone 4 at launch. Always purchased AppleCare on all of them, and because we don't have a local Apple store in our city we always get our devices replaced via AC's express replacement process which is awesome (the reason why I always buy AC on our iPhones).

FWIW, we've had our iPhones replaced about a dozen times over the years (various hardware issues) and maybe we're just unlucky but in our experience we have yet to receive a replacement that had no cosmetic defects; every single replacement had some cosmetic imperfection (e.g. dent, scratch, dead pixel(s), un-even backlighting, chipped home button, dust behind camera glass etc...).

Of all the replacements, only once I complained to Apple about it because the defects were so severe it was unbelievable that someone even quality checked it; the phone had so many dents and deep scratches out of the box that it looked as though someone had kicked the thing on concrete numerous times before neatly placing it in the white box. Apple asked me to take pictures of it and the rep was very apologetic and was herself shocked to see it like that, immediately processing a replacement.

Functionality is what's most important to us which is why we have no issues with minor cosmetic defects so we continue buying iPhones with AppleCare but to the OP, if you're holding your breath for a perfect replacement from AC, I'd say save your time and don't bother. Just hope that you get lucky and get one that you can live with.

Quality has really gone down. I went to the Apple Store yesterday afternoon to finally replace my iPhone 6 that had a clicky screen. This would be my third replacement all of them which were screen issues. They replaced with no problem, I took my MacBook to restore all my data back on the "new" replacement phone. Good thing I did that because as I went to connect my phone to my MacBook I noticed the screen was seperating from the aluminum on the lower left corner. This was a phone that literally came out of the white box replacement section not even 5 minutes ago. I immediately went back to the Genius Bar for a replacement of that, and they were asking me if I was sure and when did I get it. It was a little frustrating like you guys literally just gave me this phone. But long story short I know there are no perfect phones but the quality of the iPhone 6 is considerably the worst I have dealt with.

I agree QC is terrible my father's three day old second iPhone 6 replacement just gone faulty today dead pixels again. Around 5 this time phone was fine since Friday .

Update phoned up Apple third replacement coming this Thursday not holding my breath on this one too.

Never even seen how bad QC coming too never have to replace any Apple item three or four times.

I think people lives would be much better if they didn't visit this forum. A lot of my friends and family got 6s for Christmas. They don't actually realize I went through 3 replacements to get a a near perfect unit. (Low vibration).

I haven't bothered to tell them about the qc issues simply because they're all happily enjoying their units

I'm not very fussy on anything else except the screen needs to be dust free and dead pixel free.

A screen separating isn't something you have difficulties to notice..... But I'm still very skeptic when I heard about multiple replacements.....

Yeah screen separation is not a small issue. And all my issues were with the screen a.k.a the main component of the phone. We use the phone and look at the screen 100% of the time so yeah noticing issues with your screen isn't that hard and it's not a minor issue. Also for the amount of money someone pays for these phones the quality sucks ass whether you're on this forum or not.

I just believe most are just being incredibly OCD about particular things.

I've had the original iphone, the 4, the 5, and now the 6. The first three were perfectly fine. My 6 has that dimming thing going on in the top right corner when on a white-ish screen. The first 2 days it annoyed the hell out of me, then i forgot about and now i don't really notice it. Also didn't want to go through the whole hassle of returning the phone and possibly get stuck with one that has an issue that i couldn't live with. The devil you know... lol

I'm not happy with the price I paid for my iPhone 6, but I'm very happy about its quality. As for ANY iPhone/iPad I owned.

I have a small wart on the back of my head. I think I'll kill myself and tell my parents to start over.

I am forced by my 6 plus' perfection into holding onto its 64 gigs instead of taking a chance on swapping to a 128 gig model instead.

Two new iPhone 6+ and one iPhone 6 and no QC issues here, all within the last 3 weeks.

I'm sure the serial returners could find defects also in your units, as in mine :D

I'm sorry, but when I read about people returning "5 iPads, 3 iPhones 4, 6 iPhones 5, 4 iPods...." before finding the right one, an immediate "anal retentive warning " light comes up.
You can be unlucky one time, maybe two.....

All my returns were due to screen issue. eg dead pixels and light bleed.
I still thinking Apple need to scrap LCD screens because I had seen three of my work colleague Note 4 screen none of these phone's showing any light bleed or dead pixels the quicker Apple move to AMOLED means less returns.
