Radio Shack iPhone 5 pre order

I PO'ed 2 iphones, both sprint 16gb, one white, one black. I'm standing in there chatting with them when up rolls fed ex. Turns out I'm the ONLY one who PO in my town at RS.
Open the box and guess what is inside? One of my PO sprint phones, and 5 extra verizon phones. Told them I'm just gonna go to the apple store this evening. I took the white one that came in but I'll get my black one later.
Oh well ....such is life.
So you would believe this associate? I know I'm going to have to pay full price when I go..I'm not mad now..but I'll be pissed if I have to wait 3 weeks for it to come in AFTER they take my money. I just got my money back from the preorder they cancelled on the 14th.

Went to sprint...same exact process as radioshack. They offered a giftcard to "preorder" the phone. I almost left because of this but she was very clear about the shipping of the phones. She told me that their next shipment is Monday and I would get a phone from that stock. I took the chance because its the carrier and not third party. Either way ill have a giftcard...

My Radio Shack store ONLY got their shipment of Verizon phones.
Some stores only got Sprint.
Only AT&T.
Extra random phones.
No phones at all.
The fact that the guy told me he didn't even KNOW when the next shipment was coming in...like...really?
Idk if its Radio Shack or Apple of both. But I feel like I got screwed. I got screwed in the pre-order and I'm giving it a weekend to see if I got screwed with Radio Shack too. And ATT is taking orders to get them in 2-3 weeks.
Feeling like I should have just kept my original 10/5 Apple.com order.
Ugh.

I waited in line this morning at the closes Apple store which is down the street. I did not expect RS to come through before I have to travel. Sure enough they have no idea what's going on as expected. It was a backup plan and if it does come in I will give it to some friends who want one.
RSof coarse did not have my iphone 5 PO. They said maybe tomorrow and another guy told me maybe next week they would be getting them. Don't know what to believe anymore last time I shop at RS. All they do is lie

After 9 hours (Lol), of trying to get through the AT&T site (for radio shack asscoiates), we have finally got them done.
Threw on a Incipio Frequency Case for $25. So badass on the white iPhone. Black on white! Decided to not get the zagg invisible shields... but anyone know what else i can get besides that brand?

im pissed, I PO my iphone 5 from RS Sept. 16.. So i called this morning and asked if they had my black 32gb model the guy said "no but we have a white 32gb model that someone canceled, do you want that?" i said sure and he asked me what time i wanted to pick the phone up, i told him 7:30pm he said ok. i get off work arrive at RS about 7:20pm expecting to pick my phone up and the guy told me he just sold it to the customer before me and he doesnt know when the next shipments coming in... F RS
This may be an option.AT&T store finally sold out of their initial stock at 1010 ET.I was in the store at 11101ET and another shipment arrived.Late this afternoon I called for a friend and they sold that shipment out but the said they will get another shipment tomorrow.

The ATT I called didnt tell me anything about getting another shipment. They just said you have to place an order and youll get it in 2-3 weeks.
I got a mixed review from my local RS. So good news, I will get an iPhone (hopefully) within 3-5 business days. The manager got me a phone and will ship it to my house directly. It's the middle ground of not getting mine in because literally I was next on the list and felt bad. Also, I had a calm demeanor and just knew he didn't purposely screw me over. I waited 4 hours today in RS waiting to get my purchase made. AT&T seems to be really the loser of today. He told me that the first activation took 5 hours due to their website being down. We had literally a few hour long activations from other AT&T customers as well. I didn't exactly get it launch day BUT I won't be waiting until October to get mine. Would I do it again? Not too sure but at least I made lemonade out of lemons.
Now the wait for the tracking # and getting the phone. 32GB White is coming and it's really not as bad.

This is not 100% true. If they can get through the radioshack vendor support line they can verify your upgrade info and do a handwritten contract. I use to do them all the time when I worked there. It sucks, but it's a lot faster then 5 hours.
Well, my local RadioShack is apparently completely sold out. Sold out of the 2 phones they received today. lol. Coincidentally, one of the buyers was my aunt, and she's been worried all day thinking I'd be mad at her for 'taking' my iPhone from me 
I had the chance to get the second one today and didn't because I was unsure of what color I wanted. I'm just glad she's finally upgraded from her POS touchscreen dumb phone, that thing was always a pain because it only rang twice.

I got a call from Radio Shack this morning that my iPhone 5 was in. I went to pick it up around 1pm and it was indeed there, but when they went to activate it, they said AT&T's system was down. I was there for over 90 minutes while they tried to activate.
I eventually got tired of waiting so I guess I will be going back tomorrow for them to try again......

F RS PO!! I never got a call about my Sprint iP5, or they didn't know when I would get them. I was waiting up until 4PM like a idiot, and decide to go to a Sprint Store to see if I can pick one up, and guess what? I walked out with the last 64GB WHITE iP5!!! So freakn happy!!!! So many ppl were coming and asking if they had any more, an all the employees said " We just sold that guy the last one". Some white lady even offered me $1,300 for my 64GB iP5. I was like hell ********** no!! I've been waiting like a iDiot all day! Lol
