Verizon phones pre-ordered through radioshack are just an order placed with Verizon. So they got a print out from Verizon at that time. They don't come from radioshack's "stock". No different than if you ordered online.

Verizon phones pre-ordered through radioshack are just an order placed with Verizon. So they got a print out from Verizon at that time. They don't come from radioshack's "stock". No different than if you ordered online.
Hey guys, new to the forums (I actually only registered to comment on this thread). I preordered a 16GB black AT&T model on Sunday the 16th after seeing my Apple order wouldn't arrive until after October 8th. I've called that location twice in the past two hours. The first time I was told to call back within two hours...the second I was asked if I could be called back in thirty minutes. So I'm still waiting. They haven't divulged any information as to whether or not the phones are there or are on their way. But I'll update when I find out. I'm located in Queens, NYC.
I PO 2 Iphone 5 this Monday evening (17th). 32g Black and 32g White. I haven't received a phone call yet. When I called on monday morning, the manager said most likely I will get both phones tomorrow if not by Monday. May be I will tomorrow AM to find out. Need to work tomorrow, can't stop by till 7pm
P.S. I PO from apple on 14th and got confirmation with Delivery date on 10/5. I took my chance to cancel the order and went to RS instead. I was very skeptical at the beginning. But the manager said I will get the phones before Oct 5 for sure. Oh well. Time will tell

I'm pretty much grasping at straws now. The RS I POd at told me that mine won't come in tomorrow. I'm already on a waiting list at another RS and am 1st in line for that (32GB ATT). Hopefully everything works out tomorrow and I am in for a pleasant surprise but nothing I can do at this point.
I called them. This is a store that got 6 preorders total.they said they were calling everyone in the morning.
Got a phone call. They don't have enough phones to meet pre-orders. Damn. Hopefully I'll get it sometime next week but at this point, who knows.
Ugh. I am soo pissed off. I pre ordered 2 iphones from Radio Shack on Monday. 16gb white for me. 32gb black for my boyfriend both on ATT network. He is buying me the phone for my birthday. I called RS and they received his phone but not mine! Yesterday they told me that I was 1st on the list for the 16gb white and 2nd on the list for the 32gb black. Ugh Im soo irritated. They said they will be getting another shipment in on Saturday and Sunday. They better have my phone!! lol
I actually was the last person to preorder. I did that Monday afternoon and my phone was the only one to come in for tomorrow.
I don't think it really matters the order - just what you ordered. I ordered the white 32gb.
I bought a amazon kindle $50 gift card which you can use to buy anything from amazons website.
So called the store and nothing is in yet. Doesn't look like I will get them. I ordered 2 32Gb ATT black on the 14th around 10:30am.
Good news is I convinced my GF to camp out with me at the Apple store here in Boca Raton. The Mall will not allow people on the property until 6am. There was a robbery during an iPhone launch a couple years ago. We will try a dry by drop off and rush to the door technique.

Just left my local Radioshack and the manager who put me on the waiting list a day ago said they took 22 pre-orders and only will have 6 phones available Friday. And I would probably wait 2 weeks to get one from them.

My friend who pre-ordered with RadioShack just got a voicemail that their iPhone have not been delivered yet but that they have two deliveries, one tomorrow and one Saturday.
well i just got the call from radioshack to make an appointment to get my phone!!! I am very pleased with radioshack and my dessiton to pre order with them! cant wait to get the phone! hopefully all you guys get your phones too!
I saw a few people said they couldn't order the white 32gb from their radio shack either. I'm not sure why... but on the preorder form, there wasn't a white 32gb to circle...only a black 32gb. The guy just crossed out the black and put white...so then I got a little curious as to whether or not my phone would actually be in. It worked though! So I'm happy
I was 1st on the pre order list for Verizon...I placed my order 4pm last Friday..... Received a call from RS telling me my phone was not coming in, that RS was going to email me with shipping information.
I asked if any VZW phones were going to be sold...she said no.
No biggie...life will go on.
