The vast majority of MBA users have no need to pay for a built in card reader for one specific format of SD card. And again no SD Card for the Air.
FU Apple, where is the problem? Especially on such a portable device and if you use your device a lot while travelling, dongle fun is so annoying.
Yeah right lol, how would you know thisThe vast majority of MBA users have no need to pay for a built in card reader for one specific format of SD card.
You can turn the notch into a bezel if you want. How to Hide the Notch.Notch is silly. On their marketing pages they even show the help menu on the right side of the notch. It seems like on a smaller display than the MBP, it's going to be even worse. The menu bar isn't a superfluous part of macOS. It's a part I interact with constantly. I'd much prefer a larger bezel.
And I know I'm in the minority, but I still want USB A.
I do like the midnight color, though.
It's not a cable I need to attach, though. There's no USB-C equivalent to a flush-fitting USB-A flash drive. They all just way out and get snagged on things. You can turn the notch into a bezel if you want. How to Hide the Notch.
USB-A needs to die. Until then you can get a tiny adapter. USB-C to USB-A Adaptor. $10 for 2. Buy enough to attach to all of your USB-A cables as needed.
USB-A still has several uses in the tech world. You can turn the notch into a bezel if you want. How to Hide the Notch.

Good one, but there are applications like printers and keyboards (overall peripherals) that are perfectly fine with USB 2.0.Turning the plug upside down?
There is a paid option to upgrade the screen. It's here. Also the screen should have at least a paid option to go bigger/HDR/120Hz Promotion.
Then buy a 2.0B to C cable, plug it into your old but functionally good printer. Done.Good one, but there are applications like printers and keyboards (overall peripherals) that are perfectly fine with USB 2.0.
Check the forums. The amount of people complaining the Air needs an SD slot is minuscule.Yeah right lol, how would you know
yepCheck the forums. The amount of people complaining the Air needs an SD slot is minuscule.
What’s the average consumer going to use the SD slot for?
“Professional cameras” LOL
MBA's are not oriented to that crowd, so it makes no sense to add it.
after using my 14" MacBook pro for a day and then going back to my 24" iMac, no way i'd be buying a MacBook without pro motion
What monitor is that? Might have to ditch the iMac lolYep
Not on Apple hardware, but my 32" 144hz 4k monitor has ruined 60hz for me completely
I've heard that argument before. Yes, it's a difference, but not a deal breaker for me.after using my 14" MacBook pro for a day and then going back to my 24" iMac, no way i'd be buying a MacBook without pro motion
Can a M1/M2 Mac support 144hz @ 4K in the first place and be smooth for all the apps on an external monitor at 120-144 Hz ?Yep
Not on Apple hardware, but my 32" 144hz 4k monitor has ruined 60hz for me completely
For the $200 price bump it really should have included a mini-led promotion display. Making it bto at a higher price would likely make this MacBook Air more expensive than the macbook pro at the same storage and price.Disappointed that the design is literally Macbook Pro, a bit thinner/lighter. The iconic wedge design set it apart. Also the screen should have at least a paid option to go bigger/HDR/120Hz Promotion. The 24GB RAM option is nice. No USB-C on the right is just ********.
go back and forward between a iMac 24" and 14" MacBook for a day and get back to me lolI've heard that argument before. Yes, it's a difference, but not a deal breaker for me.
Hence the LOL. Professional camera owners are hardly entry level consumers. The vast majority of MacBook Air buyers don’t own professional cameras.
lol again with the assumptions, how would you know, got stats to back that up?Hence the LOL. Professional camera owners are hardly entry level consumers. The vast majority of MacBook Air buyers don’t own professional cameras.
