Guys, aside from battery life, thinner most likely equals lighter.
Lighter definitely means less easy to break when dropped.
I would be more worried it would snap in half in my pocket.

KEEP THE PHONE AS THICK AS THE 4S AND PUT IN A BIGGER BATTERY.
THINNER ≠ BETTER
(yes i know these are renderings)
Don't worry they are close to as thin as the headphone port will allow. They have maybe 1 or 2mm max left to shave off. And I can't see them going proprietary for the headphone port.

When do we get to the point when all our stuff is 'thin' enough?
And once we get there, will Apple be out of ideas on how to innovate their designs?

I can't see how that wont have a ton of flex in the pocket. The current 5 and 5s have flex already.
At some point in the near future, the headphone jack will have to either change or disappear.

Analysts will make their predictions based on these unverified specs used for renderings. Even if this renderings are fake, wallstreet will say Apple didn't deliver and drive the stock down after the keynote.
Who decided that this render is what people want? One could argue that even if these renderings are fake, they are indicative of the public mindset desiring such a device. A hypothetical drop in stock price would be a result of "not giving the consumer what they want" in this scenario.

Never seen or experienced anything remotely like that in a year and a half of owning an iPhone 5 and knowing many, many others who do also.
There is no way it will be that thin.
Looks gorgeous!
