I swear to god, if it will turn out that only 256/512GB models will have more RAM I'm buying Note 10+.

You need more with a Note10. Apple uses RaM smarter ergo not need enough. But if you want a phone with a slow processor (slower than last year's iPhone, and crazy slower than this year's) go ahead, no one is stopping you. Of course, pretty much everyone believes you are an roboboyjust trolling this site anyway and have no intention of getting an iPhone.

6GB of RAM kind of makes sense for the Pro models since they now have a triple lens layout and 4GB definitely makes sense for the iPhone 11. In any event, even with 3GB of RAM on my XR, I have no issues with apps closing etc. That has been demonstrated over and over with comparison videos. I imagine iOS won’t tax 3GB iPhones for at least another year or two, otherwise that would exclude iPhone 7 Plus/8 Plus and the year old XR.

I want them to be fair and don’t even sell a “Pro” phone with 64GB of capacity. In any case all “Pro’s” should come with the same RAM.

they should come with enough ram to do the job they are designed for, not a an arbitrary number. The 64 GB is a cheaper option is for us regular folks to get into the phone, anyone needing more storage would probably get it.

One, that "Apple is more efficient with RAM" thing is a myth. Two, the processor thing is immaterial, its just a spec to brag about, as both phones are fast. And three, criticizing Apple does not make one a troll.

Phil definitely did not look good. I hope he is ok. Doubtful he is filling his rings these days. :apple:
I hope we are wrong concerning his health but it did look like something was wrong other than sheer embarrassment for what he was having to say and present.

Has anyone ever shown that an iPhone needs that much? android, yah, but it is not as well designed
Exactly my point. There is very small room for Android phones to differentiate themselves from one another and honestly, who needs that much RAM?

The iPhone has always worked. And that's why its users have never cared about how much RAM is under the hood.

With iPhone 11 having 4GB of RAM, that is a good indication that 2GB RAM devices are nearing their end of life.
I’m guessing Apple will start dropping support for 2GB RAM devices starting iOS 14, with the 6s being the obvious first casualty.

Alright. 1GB of RAM is enough anyway since iOS is optimized.
