RESERVE online PICKUP IN Apple STORE currently live and working

Wow. Called Ridge Hill Apple (nearest to me) and found out that they did have T-Mobile stock (currently sold out) but it doesn't show up on the Apple Store. So even if stores have T-Mobile phones in stock, it will show as unavailable.

Yea! It's crazy. They are trying hard to get people to buy into a contract. It's super annoying and should be illegal. You should be able to buy a phone at full price and do whatever the heck you want with it.
Does anybody know what time they put inventory in the system? I checked at 7:30 PST and it look like its already been restored
Some Best Buys are like that, some aren't. Seems like they need to get their act together.
Gotta disagree here. I'm in line with my apple store. Online reservation says they got nothing for space grey Verizon. However that other Website says they do Verizon in every GB. and apple employees said they do have Verizon in black. So I'm not sure that reservation system is spot on.
Yes. In fact a apple employee just came out. Said they have every color except gold for Verizon in every capacity. The apple website says 0 for reservation though for every color and capacity

The link is awesome but the apple site appears to be generally correct. I assume updating the inventory is up to each Apple store. Any specific situation is anecdotal.
You think maybe some portion of incoming stock is earmarked for online in-store-pickup orders and the rest is earmarked for walk-in customers?
Since the stores are handing out cards to people in line, I'd expect the divided inventory. Otherwise they'd end up with really pissed off people coming to the front of the line to find out their card was no good.
It says toward the bottom that it pulls it from store.apple.com. Interesting.
I agree! That website is awesome and would have come in handy yesterday, even though I was able to track one down on Apples site, order and pick up last night.
I just used that site to help my friend from home find his iPhone, I looked up his zip, and told him where to go.
Crazy though, just yesterday a few stores around me had good stock, and now they are in red.

Gold ATT was just added to pickup in store inventory. Was only available at Glendale (32 GB ATT), Santa Barbara (16 GB ATT) and Cerritos (32 GB ATT) Apple Stores.
I grabbed one from Glendale store (the nearest for me among above 3).
Edit: All stock is gone now. Also, the tool above mentioned is pretty good. It was spot on. Someone mentioned yesterday that the stock gets added around 11-11:15am Pacific. Thanks to that person. It really does!!

Hey people. So I got to my apple store at 8am. Arden fair mall in Sacramento, Ca. The online inventory said no Verizon's in black or silver. Anyways didn't get any tickets. At 10 am. The employees came out. They asked which phone. After going one by one through line I was the 7 person in line. I asked for Verizon in black. He said we got 16,32,64. I asked for 32 and full price device only. He rung it up. Total 812$. I then returned my apple online store order of my t mobile one which he easily returned. I can attach receipts to anyone who would like to see. This is finally over with. Whoo! By the way they had no golds of any carrier or GB

FINALLY got an order in for a 64GB gold. Wanted silver, but got sniped out of it yet again during the order process when my iPad opted to scratch its ass instead of going through the order, but anyway. The gold was my first choice, and it will grow on me, I'm sure. At any rate, I can finally get rid of my 5, whose battery is on its last legs. So happy day!!

Congrats. Almost no changes to the upper Midwest inventory yet today. It did change yesterday around 1-1:15 central), but not today.
