Since Monday, not once did I see a 64GB Gold Verizon in all of Apple Stores in Southern California popped up on their site. But then again I'm not like checking the availability on their website every SECOND :p I don't know if anyone has ever sighted the rare 64GB Gold Verizon?

lol, a few T-Mobile ones finally showed up, just to disappear by the time I got to checkout. What a freaking crock...lol

are these actual reservations now? I remember last week saying they were not.

I saw a bunch available last night but didnt order because i did not want to cancel my online order, then find out the phone is not reserved for me. Then they sell it to someone else.

Same for NYC.

Your best bet is to setup an Apple Store account with your shipping and payment information saved. Leave it logged in. Then you can make a purchase in a few clicks.

Make a purchase and select "In Store Pickup" and select a store with stock. The phone is held for you with your name on it.

I wish Chicago-land would get some phone over 16MG! I should have waited in line on day 1... it would have been less time than all this refreshing of the site.

Does "unavailable" status necessarily mean there is also no stock in the store if you were to just walk in?

LOL, this is what I did. Literally got to the payment page in seconds, and it wouldn't let me process. :D

Yes, it is an actual reservation. You pay for it and it is held under your name at the store. I found mine on 10/1. My confirmation e-mail gave me until 10/6 to pick up my phone.

Gaaahhhh!! just reserved 64GB Gold iPhone 5s now!!!

And there's lots more in Southern Cali now. Just waiting for pickup confirmation!!! sorry, so excited :D

This is what I get for being slow to decide to get a 5s. I've been sticking with Blackberry, but finally realized that they seem to be giving up on non-business users, so I decided to move on. I considered my options and decided iOS was right for me. I'd like to do the setup in person, so I'm looking at purchasing in a store. I'm on Sprint, so it seems inventory may be low, and I'd like 64GB (which I've seen very few of for Sprint on the Apple site). I'm seeing 16GB all over the LA area, but that won't work. Crossing my fingers and hitting refresh...there's got to be some demand for Sprint 64 in a city the size of LA...doesn't there?

What if you do not buy it online, but see it is available at a specific store for pickup and go direct...will they sell it if they still have them? I heard somewhere some stores are forcing u to buy online and wont give you any if you just show up....
Also how fast do you get your confirmation email if you do buy online and choose store pickup? can i buy online select store pick up and go right away?

Not sure about going direct without purchasing first.

But, I purchased mine on 10/1 at 11:41 AM with the in store pick-up option. I received my "we're ready for you" email at 12:02 PM. So, it is pretty quick.

Quite a few 16/32GB Gold ATT yesterday in the Bay Area at around 3pm. Managed to get an order in and picked up a 32GB at the Stanford's Apple Store.

So I have a business account and everytime I try get an iPhone 16gig Space Grey for pickup it says my account type is not supported. Am I essentially stuck with waiting until I can just walk in the store and hope they still have stock?

I think you grabbed mine :)

I missed twice today, 11-11:15am and about 3:15pm. Both times I lost it due to whole typing password, entering notification phone # etc.

May be tomorrow :)

That is so frustrating! I've been checking the Palo Alto & Stanford stores frequently (about every hour or so) and have NEVER seen a 32gb gold AT&T in stock.

Congrats to you for finding and getting one.
