I get it, you can't make promises because some customers will have a tantrum right in the middle of the Apple Store, so in no way am I blaming employees for the whole "We dont know what models are arriving. They just show up." line. But when your CEO has earned the reputation of being the "Logistics King" and Apple Store's are the most finely tuned retail outlets in the world then are we really supposed to believe that they don't know what exactly is coming in Todays shipment?
I'm just saying that it would be nice to walk into the store and be told "Psst. We dont expect your Gold 5s for a few weeks so don't bother monitoring the site and waking up at 3A every night to check".
