Just saw a 64GB AT&T Gold in Walnut Creek (11:20am). Canceled my online order (October shipping), because apparently you can't add two lines to your AT&T account simultaneously (what kind of BS is that?) and by the time it let me order through the Apple website, the phone was gone.

FFS...!

Nice me too! I actually have a gold 16 being delivered by ups today but I decided this weekend that I want a 32 instead. Glad this saga is over.

Next year I will order a 32 or 64 online so I don't have to go through this again. I'll just be sitting at home tracking my UPS plane from China instead lol
 
So, is this it for today? It seems like some 64 GB's popped up across the country about 15 minutes ago (and lasted about 3 minutes).

Are you trying to get an unlocked model or locked to T-Mobile? If you don't mind locked to T-Mobile and you're looking for space gray or silver order from the T-Mobile site. They have them in stock. You can order full priced without setting up a new account. Again, it will be locked to T-Mobile.

I'm in New York and with T-Mobile. If you have a postpaid account with T-Mobile purchase it through your account and setup monthly payments. It should be around $22 a month. I don't understand why they would require you setup a new account.

I'm seeing gold, silver and gray AT&T and grey, silver and lots of gold Verizon in NYC.
 
I do have to say that the website a few pages back was very accurate. As for the Chrome page monitor, it did detect the change in availability, but there were many false alarms. Cool tool though.
 
I would certainly preferred if it was an unlocked model, but I can go with a locked T-Mobile model but certainly not at $780. I'll still camp around the Apple Online Store then to see if I can get one from there, I would much prefer buying it at an Apple Store compared to T-Mobile.

I think the carrier store was just trying to make an extra buck, since the demand for the phone is so high. They only had 2 in stock when I asked.

Arghhh Arghhh!!!

I saw Gold 32GB AT&T @Bridgeport (Portland, OR) n gone by the time I reach the cart section. Verizon 16GB n 32GB are also available and when I click place my order it revert me back to the cart again for some reason. Come third time, the Verizon's Golds are also gone.

Last Monday at lunchtime, I went to the Bethesda store, and there was a short line for 5s even though they showed none on line. While in line, they said they had the grey 64gb I wanted, but by the time I got to the front, they were gone. I haven't seen any 64GBs since then on line between Richmond and Philly.

Ya, for real....geez, glad this is over!! Nerve wracking!

Ya...good plan! My husband preordered a gold 64, but ended up not liking it for him (he's used to blk; so he ended up returning his gold). I had initially was gonna pass on new ph this yr. But after seeing his gold...I was like...uhhhh...(but I wanted a 32).

So now stalking a Space Grey for him, but hopefully that should be easier to get/find than a gold. So yep!

:) Good for him. I am actually looking for 16GB, but don't really mind the 32GB. Whichever comes first. Well, maybe some other time. til next hunting hour
 
Many Gold AT&T's 5S' in stock in the Southeast region. Mainly 64GB's. Preordered two 64GB in Alpharetta - saw some of other sizes scattered throughout.

Which stores were these? Reston and Tysons? I've found that they're much less helpful than other DMV stores right after a launch..
 
Is it possible to stalk for an in-store pick up and then set it up as a new line on my account?
Basically, could I then return the phone and have them process it as my main line and cancel the new line?

Does this make sense, basically I have an online order that I placed on 9/26 but don't want to cancel it for fear that I won't be able to snag an in-store pick up :x
 
Have been checking SoCal for an ATT gold, prefer 64. Glendale/Americana/Pas would be the best but at this point will drive.

Glad to see some people are finding them. Using the checking tool (thank you!), but it never goes green for me. :(
 
There's a gold 64 AT&T sitting at Friendly Center, NC.
Tempted to buy it even though thats a 4 hour drive for me but scared to cancel my online order because it will probably vanish as soon as I cancel.

Allegedly Bethesda Row is good (MD), and Fairoaks was decent the last time I was there (NoVA). Montgomery mall is garbage. That is all.
