RESERVE online PICKUP IN Apple STORE currently live and working

This whole process, simply put, has been Boner Spaghetti :eek:

The dumb thing is, I stayed up 9/20 until 3AM EST. Had one picked out, ready to go and checkout in the 1-3 days group confirmed at like 3:03AM. And I didn't pull the trigger, thinking "oh, I'll get lucky over the weekend"...


3 weeks later, still looking for that goldie. I'm too far invested into it now, so even if I find silver I'm gonna wait it out. Lawd.:rolleyes:
 
Lots of gold 16gb AT&T in the San Francisco Bay Area right now for pickup in store....but again ZERO gold 32gb or 64gb for AT&T. I think they're having a serious manufacturing problem with the gold 32gb....
 
Another 2PM update where all surrounding states get all kinds of AT&T gold, but literally none in Michigan's 4 stores...

I don't understand how this keeps happening or why AAPL doesn't want to send any phones to MI.:confused:

A drive from Grand Rapids to Chicago is 3 hours? Maybe choose a Chicago store for pickup.

I'm on the East side, homes... G-Rap is another 2.5 hours away from me, so about 5 to get to Chicago. Thanks for the idea though.

Almost bought one in Cleveland, 2.5 hours away from my location, but that seems excessive, although I've wasted enough time on this as-is.

Only T-mobile phone in 200 miles within Phily and I was able to put my order in, waiting for email confirmation now....... The wait!
 
Gold in all sizes are still up for NYC for at&t...Ive been following the in-store availability for the past week now and have NEVER seen it up more than 2 minutes(TOPS)....Looks like the gold shipment was large this afternoon!:D:D:D

I noticed the same. Gold in all sizes and carriers showed up at 2pm.

Not much in Silver. I haven't seen a Verizon 32GB or 64GB in Long Island all week.
 
does anyone know if it is possible to switch store pick up location? (choose different store which also has the model in stock)
 
I signed up for email alert for available phones for instore pickup earlier today, and just after an hour of signing up, I got a notification that the store closest to me (Tukwila, WA)has the Gold 5S 16GB AT&T, the one I wanted in stock, and sure enough, they did.
But I already have an order online, and I did not cancel the phone order I placed online beforehand, I knew that by the time my online order is canceled, and upgrade eligibility is cleared, the phone will be gone, so I didn't even bother to try. But I did watch how long it sells out: I got the notification of availability at 11:11, and the it's unavailable again at 11:34, so about 20 minutes, which is impressing.

Wish the same had been true in San Francisco....nothing except 16gb gold AT&T...

I was in the same boat but ended taking the 'Big RISK' and canceled my 9/20 10:05am est shipment...Took me a longgg week of hawking the In-store pick but Today I pick up my 32GB Gold 5siphone after work :D

There is still stock available here for pick-up!:eek: Which means (well I am assuming) that more 5s gold iphones are being shipped (large stock), so stay positive! might not be your city today but I have a good feeling they are finally coming in!
 
Lost my spot in line :(

Well saw two stores had availability in my local area, quickly canx my Sep 20 order that now had a shipment day of November 4th!! of course by the time my eligibility cleared AT&T they were both gone. So now here i am with no original order and no in store pick up. Apple really dropped the ball this year with this Iphone Launch. /Sigh
