I'm simply adding a third line to an existing Verizon account. Do they require a signature for this?
Yes they do...they require signature and ID from the primary account holder...at least that was the case with me for an AT&T phone, which was an additional line to an existing account...not sure if different carriers have different protocol

So I have decided to return the 64gb gold att phone I got last Friday and go back to verizon. Att's lte destroys verizon but the 3/4g building penetration is still an issue for me. I am going to return it came stick with verizon for another years.

Anyway I would like to buy the Verizon 64gb gold full price, can I order online with my discount and when I pick it up in store just tell them I want to pay full price and not use my upgrade?

I can still get $400-$500 for my mint iphone 5 64gb so it would be the same as paying thr subsidized price, but this way I can keep my upgrade for next year.

That should work. They will have to cancel your contract order, return the iPhone then sell it to you full priced.

@NYC... refreshing like crazy but no gold iphone 5s in sight anywhere.. I thought 1AM, they also do refresh?

you would think that after a month, iPhone 5S in store stocks will be normal but sad to say it's not. what are they thinking (apple)...

I think this might be a trend. Using the ipad launch as a reference, it seems as if apple is going to launch in lots and lots of different countries from now on from day 1. And it's very hard to politically reverse this.

Even if the big wigs at :apple: realize it might be better to launch in a handful, they would be met with a lot of public outcry.

Get used to not getting your shiny new product on launch day.

Yes,ET.

Is that est or does it depend on which time zone your in?

----------

Th 5s & c were launched in several countries on Day 1.And later on in 23 or so countries, about 2 weeks ago IIRC.

Why? I had mine on launch day. Lots of people did.

I got mine on launch day 2 years I a row at Radio Shack.

Yeah. I bought the original, 4S, 5, and 5s on launch day. Bought 3G and 3GS within the first month of launch, but only because I was in no hurry. Got the 4 a week after launch. Was waiting to hear about when white would be released. I've never had a problem getting a phone.
