Ordered 16GB T mobile Gold iPhone were available today at apple store soho, NYC. ordered two, going to pick up now. already got confirmation that my order is ready for pick up. i ordered around 5:30AM EST.

Target in Harlem has Verizon 16GB Gold which is unlocked. They should price match Apple's price for device only.
Four hours later, and there is still TONS and TONS of greys available for pick up at the apple store!
on my 10th try, it did finally work. all times before, it was available when I started to check out and by the time I finished, it was no longer available. even when it finally worked, it was the 3rd store I tried that time. the first two sold out while I was checking out. one suggestion is to turn express check out on so you don't have to spend time putting in your credit card verification number and clicking to confirm conditions.

Yes. I got a 32GB silver on 10/1, but decided I really wanted a 64GB, so I returned it. Was able to purchase a 64GB gold on 10/14 via in store pick-up.
Man you guys are lucky, I've been going on the Apple website literally everyday for the past 3 weeks, and I've had no luck. I've even tried using the Macs at my university, with Safari and Crazy Internet and I still get beat even with express checkout enabled, and everything ready to go. I wonder if technically since the stock "refreshes" at 2 PM, if I can just wait at the apple store itself at like 1:25 PM physically so they can receive a shipment at 2
Yes. I got a gold 64GB AT&T about a month ago or so using store pickup. I had to drive to a store about 2 hours away, but it was worth it to be done with the middle-of-the-night wakeups and obsessive checking of the tracker site.
I've seen tracker updates on Saturdays and Sundays, just very limited supplies...Mondays and Fridays seem to have largest stock updates...just the trends I've seen in northeast
has the stock updated for anyone on the south east?
Edit: I think the Pick-up site is rigged. For example repeatedly refreshing on the last possible page and having one show up green and placing the order as humanely possible always leads to it being out of stock; and just for measure I saw one that was in the Orlando store for a long time the other day, and have tested multiple times that it stays "green" for a long time, but the moment you place the pickup order, it shows "unavailable". This is rigged.

I just ordered online and picked up a T-Mobile/Unlocked Space Grey 5s at the Bridgeport Village Apple store near Portland. First time I actually made it through in 2 weeks. Thanks for the tip on what time the inventories update!
