I canceled my order more than 3 hours ago but upgrade eligibility not coming back...

Yes!! Just checked and got a gold one in Walnut Creek! Gonna head up in a few minutes! I wasn't going to get one shipped until the end of October.

Keep checking guys because no one had anything since about 11am and now most of the bay area stores showed stock on 32g gold At&t's.......

----------

A bunch of bay area stores show stock on gold 64's too!

I don't know if I'd be willing to drive that far. I just got one for pick-up, but I never ordered online and I have 6 stores within an hour drive. I wouldn't have been willing to go further than that, but I had a decent chance of getting one closer with that many stores.

Then again, if you're in a less populated area, they may sell slower and you might be more likely to score one.

Do you know how long they will hold it if I purchase it online? I am traveling this week but I keep checking for ones in stock in my area.

All stores in the bay area have gotten or are getting a ton of all models today. Looks like this was a big Apple PR game... keep supply tight till the "sold out in minutes" announcement this morning then flood the stores.

Not happy with Apple...

I was very surprised by how well this worked out for me. I was able to cancel my order that had the 7-10 delivery estimate and reorder one for pickup all within 5 minutes. Just picked up my att 64 space grey about an hour ago. Hope this works out for everyone looking to do the in store pick up as well.

Wow, the universe does not want to grant me a gold iPhone lol. Went through the process twice at different times of the day only to get beaten out by a) someone who types faster or b) next person in line at the store haha.

Sold your reserved order? Weak.
They sold mine too...So got my 32GB Gold from Apple today and went directly to Best Buy to play on the phone while I had them cancel my order (they had placed another reservation order to make sure I got one when it came in). Was a good feeling.

Had a gold 64 for att on order. October status. Ordered from Flatirons mall around noon. Got my confirmation email 10 minutes later. Took a nice long lunch and now I have my gold 64 in my hand. Great day for sure.

RESERVE online PICKUP IN Apple STORE currently live and working

Yahoo!! After checking and checking the Bay Area (Cali) has the silver 64gb AT&T everywhere!! Just order for store pickup and I got my "we're ready for you" email from Apple. On my way!!!! So glad I read these forums and cancelled. Thanks everyone! ImageUploadedByTapatalk1379977705.592414.jpg

Same here. Cancelled my online order and got mine in during lunch.

I have a silver one and want to try exchanging it for the gold. There's no way I can reserve online and exchange at store, right?

Does anyone know if a store shows it does not have stock on a model for in-store reserve, do they still have models for walk-in customers? Probably not but this would help me, as I am not able to reserve online.

Nope. Walkins get what isn't ordered online if there is anything.

And perhaps whatever comes in during the day although they might have a block in the system that keeps those from showing up as 'in stock' until 10pm to give the staff time to unbox them from their shipping packaging etc.

Anyone had any luck on gold sprints in southeast wisconsin? Every single sprint phone in every color has been unavailable when I've been checking

That's what I want to know. I have a silver en route and may want to exchange it for space gray. When I go to online to schedule for online pickup, I get this message...

We are unable to upgrade this account.

We are sorry, but this account cannot be upgraded at this time. Please visit an AT&T store for more account details.

Am I stuck or will the status change after I activate the new device? I could always upgrade using another line on my family talk plan, no regular upgrade available, just an early upgrade. I could do that and hope that the Apple store can straightens everything out.

I'm not seeing how long one has to pick up a phone? I successfully managed to order one for in-store pickup, have it confirmed, but no "pick up by… " date anywhere.

Any ideas?
