Agreed. I keep going back to the Playproof when/if other options don't end up being what I was hoping for. It seems like we'll be hard pressed to find a case that hits just about all the points that the Playproof does.

Speaking of Magpul - I wonder if they plan on making a Bump case for the 6s Plus?

I wish they would. I reached out to them about it months ago....they said it wasn't in the plans

I am happy to say that Otterbox did just unveil the Strada for the 6s plus

You like the leather covers? I don't like those type cases, myself.

Hmm, saw the Evutec at BB today. Wasn't as grippy as I had hoped, but if it's "waaaay" grippier than the playproof....

The Evutec was nice to look at but felt kinda "not that secure".

It is very secure. Yesterday I dropped my iPhone 6s Plus from waist height while walking on the treadmill. It bounced on the top right edge of the case (there are scuff marks on the case) on the metal edge of the treadmill. Then the phone was flat on its face. I paused the treadmill and slowly picked up the phone expecting to see a shattered screen. There was nothing and not a mark on the screen protector either.

Been considering the playproof for my 6s plus but I am bit concerned if the speaker holes line up correctly on the s series phone seen a review stating they do not

My other consideration is a uag would like the slimmer profile but maybe someone with both would be willing to share their preference between the two I am not one to change cases often so not really looking to have multiple cases

Thanks for any help

I have both the UAG and the Playproof for my 6s Plus. I go back & forth between the two. I love the UAG but I also like how slim the Playproof is. I have an easier time holding the UAG than I do the Playproof.... It just seems to slide out of my hand a little easier. I was fine with the Playproof for a while but I noticed I had to make a conscious effort to keep my grip on the phone. Now that I've switched back to the UAG I'm noticing I'm not doing that nearly as much if at all.

Thanks how much difference is there in the length, width, and thickness between them

Kind of surprised with how many more people seem to be going with the Playproof over the crash guard.

I personally think the playproof is better in several ways, better buttons, better fit, better feel. I think rhinoshield learned and improved on the crashguard when they made the PP

wow...really disappointed. Took the play proof off as the gray part is now separated from the black. I just emailed evolutive labs. Really disappointed

Care to post some pictures of it or maybe it isn't possible to see in the pictures I have one that's suppose to arrive tomorrow not sure what to think now. I think there maybe was another person reporting a similar problem happening back a few pages how old is it

Ugh - this is the same EXACT thing that happened to me! Sorry to hear. At which point of the case is the separation occurring? Mine was the top right corner of my case and extended to the power button. I actually never even followed up with Evolutive Labs after my initial few email exchanges yet but I do know they require you to send them proof and they will charge you to exchange/return.

It's right above the speaker grill.

If they make it that much of a hassle, that's ridiculous.

I'm guessing it must be prone to separating at the point at or near where one would go to remove the case from the phone. Disappointing indeed, considering how well built and tough it is supposed to be.

I will say that my correspondence with them has been friendly but the response time can be unpredictable. I hope you receive positive feedback.

I'm so sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the PlayProof! I have several of their cases for the 6s Plus and haven't noticed any signs of separation. Perhaps there is just a bad batch out there? Good luck with getting this resolved!!

they did just email me about an hour ago and are going to send me one free of charge since I sent them pictures. Hopefully the new one will be better. To their credit, they were very apologetic.

I seriously doubt how much impact or how much height can crashguard take if it is hitted on front or back instead of corner.

There are like two, pretty much direct face drops in this video. And this is with the crash guard, not the play proof.

The Playproof overall is a bit slimmer, but the UAG might be a hair thicker at its thinnest point, if that makes sense. The top and bottom of the UAG is bigger because they have more TPU (or whatever it is) there, but it tapers off once you get to the body of the phone. The only other difference may be the actual thickness of the back of it, which I don't think you can really tell when holding it anyway.

Hopefully that made some sort of sense.

In hand feel is similar though. The UAG is a little more blocky whereas the Playproof is rounded to match the phone. But a huge plus for the UAG is it has ridges on the sides which help with grip, and the pattern on the back of the case helps in holding the phone also. The Playproof being completely smooth means no texture which works against grip. That's my only gripe against it.
