Review: InCase Snap - Clear for iPhone 4 (From Apple Case Program)

I'm really torn between which case to order for the case program.
I think the benefits of this case are that it's clear and shows off the iPhone pretty well, and it's also easy to quickly get out of your pocket when it rings (unlike some silicone ones that can be harder to get out).
That being said, one of the benefits of having a silicone case is that it's easier to grip as you are talking on it. Right now I don't have a case on my phone, and I'm constantly afraid that it may just slip right out of my fingers as I'm talking.
Do you think this case has a good grip on it? Is it too glossy? I'm leaning towards getting this case, I just think the grip is my only issue.

Oh no! I too have the power support back skin. Is the case that precise that it will not stay in place with the skin on?
my wrapsol matte back was too thick and the case did not snap on properly. I just ordered a PS crystal back and I'm hoping the case is compatible with it. I do think the PS film is thin enough but we'll see
I'm also torn between this case and a bumper. I LOVE the way the phone looks and feels and I hate to change that with a case. This case looks good but I'm concerned that a lot of dust and stuff will get inside the back. I've seen this before on other clear cases. Is this one any different?
I went an entire year with a case not on my 3GS with no problem. I want something that I can put on when I'm in high risk areas, like the gym. But would a bumper be just as good if not better?

No problem, and yes it is.
I find it a bit difficult to take off my iPhone. Do you have a trick to removing your case?
Removing the right side works for me. If you try the left side the buttons can kind of interfere with getting the case off.
got mine the other day, wasnt a fan of it, after 24hr of use i like it, reminds me of the airjacket SUPER tight fit. i have a HELL of a time getting it off, have to use a credit card to pry the phone out. im hoping since its so tight no dust will get in there and scuff stuff up

Having the case for a few days now I can confirm dust does find it's way in there still, but that's not really a big deal to me. Clean your phone once a week and you should be good to resell it come next year.
I like the look of this case, however the "smoke" version looks like it has a little bit more of a matte finish, so I think that one might provide a little bit better of a grip. But I'm not sure yet because that one hasn't come out yet. Does anyone know when it's being released?
Update: I got a bunch of compliments on the case today, however people didn't even notice there was a case on it to begin with, they were just striking up a convo about the 'antenna issue' and is that the plagued problematic iPhone 4? lol illiterate people I tell ya.. anyways yeah so maybe that's an advantage to this case as well, you don't even notice it, and apparently others don't either!
Edit: This is the case Im currently using, had the same one for my 3GS before and they are great. WILL NOT mark your phone! Soft inside, with a pull tab on the back to extract the phone. Phone will not fall out on its own, even when shaken. Hard leather and smells lovely
I use it as my main case and the incase snap will be my travelling case.

So I got the case today. Too bad it's defective, see pictures as evidence, so who do I contact for RMA to return? Apple or Incase?
So it doesn't look like it's a scratch on the back and I don't know what you call it. On the side it looks like it's a crack. It would've been a nice case if not for the defect.

Smoke For Me
I just ordered a Smoke Snap via the free case program. I had/have a Contour clear hard case similar to this type for my outgoing 3G and it was excellent. My only issue was how badly the back of the case got scratched up, and showed the blemishes. So I am gonna go for the smoke version on my IP4 in the hopes that any scratches might not be quite as visible on the darker shell.

Can anyone confirm if this case works with the Power Support Crystal installed on front and back? Also, is it thinner overall than the Bumper?

These pictures don't show anything. I see a big silver X. The side view is all blurry.
It just means that the back protector is pressed up against the clear case and distorts the back/looks weird.
