I've had this case for a little while now, and I can no longer recommend it. Upon taking a few flash photos at night, a noticeable white glare on the right side of every photo appeared. It took me a while before I realized that the case was causing the flash to glare into the lens. Taking the case off fixed all of the issues.

I highly doubt this, you joined just to post this false info? I'm having no issues.

Nor am I having any issues either. The manufacturer is most certainly aware of the potential for flash-related issues which is why there is a black flash ring completely surrounding the lens and flash to prevent glare. It is listed as a feature on the top of the package for the case as you can see from the OP's photo.

In response to the other poster above who suggests that dust or other particles will get in between the case and the phone and scratch it, I am not experiencing this either in the 4 days I've been using it. It's a nice tight fit.

Just received my smoke snap case today. My PS back and front film protector fits fine and no bubbling. Also, I have the Best Buy film protection around the antenna. Way better feel than the snap case that I purchased on ebay.

Any pics?

I got my clear today.
Its a nice case, no way worth $35.

Mine came with a long scratch in the back, but I guess its going to happen regardless due to the material, so I am not even going to attempt to exchange it.

The case is nice, allows you to show off the the sides.
I have an oleo on the front and a generic back protector, and its causing the back one to bubble up on the four corners, no biggie.

Not sure if I will use this one full time though, wont really afford to much protection and almost feels like it will pop off with an impact, but that could just be because i have a back screen protector.
I with it would cover the top better, like having the material cover the entire top and just have cut outs for the earphone and sleep/wake button.

InCase Snap Smoke pics

I just got my Smoke InCase Snap today and figured I'd post some pics of it since no one else has.

What I like about the case is the minimalistic design and the matte feel that makes it much gripper than the naked iPhone. But that's about the only good parts cause it doesn't really "snap" to my iPhone. After a few minutes of having it on, it kind of twists off a little making the camera lens even more recessed and possibly prone to flash problems.

I guess I should also mention that I have the PowerSupport Crystal films on the front and back and maybe that's why it's not fitting properly. But others in this thread have said that they don't have any problems...maybe it's a problem with the Smoke as opposed to the Clear????

Thanks for the pictures!

Here's to hoping that the fitment is perhaps caused by your screen protectors and/or just a singularly bad case. I am planning on removing my back screen protector when the hard case gets here, but leaving the front one on (same setup I used for my 3G).

gotta agree that this case should not be the same price as the slider. the snap case should cost around $20 in incase pricing.

Their stuff has always been overpriced and it's not always the best. I do really like my slider though.

Just got my clear case today and immediately removed my black bumper. At least now it looks like I have an iPhone 4. I left the screen protector and leather backing from my other case thingy.

Glad I waited instead of jumping on the Element case. ;)

I purchased the Slider the day I bought the iPhone 4, but I ordered the Snap Case from the Case program. The smoke looks really good. Thanks for the pictures. I'm looking forward to trying it myself.

Top marks for the hi-res photos. Have you noticed any peeling or scratches like Incipio Feather?

This thread is really nice, I hope that people will really like, Most if not all cases are clear polycarbonate scratch, is no different. It may take up to one billing cycle for the refund to appear.Apple Retail Store customers, check the status of your refund.

I haven't had the case or used it long enough to experience any problems with the case yet.

Originally I posted that I had problems with the case not "snapping" into place, but after really pressing hard to get my iPhone into the case it seems to stay in place alot better. But it does still slowly pop out a bit, but it's nowhere near as bad as before.

I just got mine a couple days ago and have the smoke model. Mine is not loose at all, so maybe it is the film making yours lip around.

I really like the color and minimalist design. Provides some protection without really looking like there is a case on the phone at all. I like the texture of the case.

Perfect Fit after removal of back and edge skins.

I've had my smoke Snap for 3 days. I had an SGP carbon skin and a vinyl bumper skin on prior. Once I decided I liked the snap case, I removed the skins
and the case distinctly snaps on to the phone firmly. I see by your photos that your volume buttons are close to the front edge of the case cutout. Once you remove the skins, all the buttons will be perfectly centered in the holes. I actually have to pull one edge away firmly to remove the case once installed. Nothing loose about the fit, but you must remove all skins. Front skins not impacted at all.

I can also confirm the flash is not an issue with this case. I tried it last night in pitch black conditions, wide angle and telephoto pics, no issues.

The case is really starting to grow on me.
I have it now with the sgp oleophobic on the front, and an Iglow glow in the dark back glass vinyl protector, looks good. Glows right thru the case at night, pretty neat effect.

I think I have found my perfect case for now. Till the A.D.D. kicks in. lol.

Thanks so much for posting those hi-res photos of the smoke case!

Can anyone with the smoke case confirm whether or not it comes with that cute little stand?

I like the looks of the clear case, but I think I'm leaning towards getting the smoke case now simply for the fact that it has a matted texture, which makes the phone slightly easier for gripping.
