Review: InCase Snap - Clear for iPhone 4 (From Apple Case Program)

I had the casemate for my 3Gs and I also did not like the cut out. The Incase case feels much better IMO..
Just an update, mine never got changed
Just got the Reveal etch, I don't know why they never changed it, oh well.I'm patiently waiting for mine. On the Apple Free Case Program it states that shipping time is 1-2 weeks. A few days later I get an email saying that my case will be shipped in 4 weeks. 3 more weeks to wait.

It doesn't fit with with SGP leather backing FYI. I'm gonna stick the leather decal on some wax paper once I get it and try the smoke for a while.

I originally ordered a Pixelskin HD on July 23rd, got the order changed to the InCase Smoke on August 17th and it has already shipped and should be here by Monday. Looking forward to it
U mean the Deep Black thingy? I have that too. I thot it's very thin and would surely have no prob fitting in...
so did I, but it won't go down all the way without it. I'm surprised some people have said they can fit a front/back protector on and still use this case.
I can see issues with having a back protector but the case doesn't go over the screen so a screen protector wouldn't be an issue.
did you order through the case program? If so i ordered on August 12th that weird that yours is pretty much ready to ship.
This case looks cool but the lack of front lip and thinnness makes me not want it.

Hey everyone.
I purchased this case because I wanted to buy the iPhone 4 and immediately put it in a case. Today I finally got my iPhone and put it right into the case and the first thing I noticed is that this thing creaks and is loud whenever I hold it. It's kinda annoying. I don't have any back or side protecting film. It snaps in, just really noisy. Especially by the "incase" and "made in China" imprints. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you.

I have the smoke and no creaking at all. I also dont have a rear protector (front but that wont make a difference). Overall love this case. The clear is different to the smoke in its material - is yours the clear?
No creaking here with my Clear. I love this case. It's solid. It looks and feels as if it's a part of the phone itself.
After 2 weeks with it there are some vertical scratches on the case's surface but they are minimal. It's clearly doing it's job protecting the back of the iPhone. I've got no problems with particulate matter getting under the case and I removed it just this morning for a look-see and confirmed no scratches on the back of the phone.
I may just get a Smoke case as well on my own dime to switch things up once in a while. The company makes quality products.
The case does have a lip (the clear case anyway). I wouldn't want a case with plastic any thicker than this one.

I'm going to write to their customer service. Hopefully, I just got a bad one. (PS - Great avatar! I live 7 miles away from "The Stadium". Do you get the Yankee games regularly in Japan?)

Yeah, I was surprised to read about the creaking thing. I think you're right and you're probably just dealing with a dud.
Unfortunately, not nearly as many now that Matsui's been traded to Anaheim. We used to get a ton of the YES Broadcasts over here on Japanese Broadcast Satellite.
Now I watch what games I can and listen to the rest on Gameday Audio.
I just got a clear snap today and it does not fit my iphone 4! It fits at one side but not the other and does not snap into place, the case is too small! A bit weird after all the positive things said about it here.
