I really HATE this case. It's nice and slim, but good LORD does it get greasy. I constantly wash my hands, but this bugger is always greasing up. I just can't wipe it enough.

I'm not using it anymore. Can't stand it at all.

I had a hard time choosing between the clear case and the smoke case. I wanted clear because I wanted to show off the looks of the iphone, however I ultimately ordered the smoke case because of its matte finish for easier gripping.

After 3 weeks of using the smoke case, I am definitely happy with my choice. It has a very nice feel, and is easy to grip. It leaves no finger prints or grease marks, and it does not have the feeling at all like it's about to slip out of your hands. It also does not show any scratches at all.

If people are having a hard time choosing between clear vs. smoke, I'd definitely go with the smoke. I'm very happy with my choice.

I just received my smoke case and I can already see that I will be very pleased with it. Feels great in my hand and looks slick. Very happy with my decision!

Does anyone happen to have the Power Support protectors on their iPhone with the InCase Snap? I've seen responses where SGP did not have bubbles and was wondering if the PS ones do. Thanks!

If you're talking about front protectors, the Snap does not interfere with front screen protectors in any way.

I had an iSkin and I have 3 marks on the steel part of the phone...

no idea how...

Is the snape smoke after a while creates signs/scratches on the steel?

added a little flavor to mine

I ordered the clear case and I had it in only four days. I'm glad that it's dockable, but doesn't really provide much, if any protection for the screen if laid upside down.

I had my phone with the clear case, between my legs while driving. I stopped to get out and forgot it was there and it fell on the ground. It was like sloooow mooooootion, as I watched the phone land flat on the protected back, then bounce and flip over, landing on the unprotected front, landing on a piece of gravel.
I picked it up and looked at the phone and I didn't even see a scratch on the back. Turned it over and saw a 2 scratches on the glass. One by the frontfacing camera, and one on the bottom corner near the metal antenna. Stupid, just that morning I took my phone out of my Otterbox Defender and into the InCase Clear. Learned my lesson, too little too late.

Ouch. Major bummer.

Do you think a 'Speck PixelSkin HD' or 'Incipio NGP' would have prevented the damage in this particular case?

For those with the Lucky Lab side decals, are you able to fit your iPhone in the InCase snap fine?

Yeah it works. Bit of a tight fit though so takes a little more effort to make sure everything snaps into place but it's fine.

Any kind of screen protector would probably have saved the screen. It's small scratches, but still visible. I don't put one on since the Otterbox Defender already has a built in one. Ugh, but oh well, It was just a matter of time. Just like when you get a new car and baby that sucker until you get the first ding. :)

Traded a clear for a smoke and this baby is waaaay better. No more oil and grease. Oh yeah baby.

I'm sure the grease and oil are still there, but now you've got a matte surface that doesn't display it as easily.

I'm sure the smoke is an awesome case too. I like all of inCase's products. I personally have had no grease problems with my Clear case though.

Anyway, glad to see you're so happy.

I got the Smoke snap case, and I really really like it. I was using the black bumper for a while, and it was alright, but I didn't really like that it made the phone have ridges in the edges which made the phone feel odd in your hand. The rubber on the edges also made it sort of difficult to remove from your pocket.

I had ordered the smoke case a while back, but I just went home this weekend from college and picked it up at my house. The phone feels a lot sleeker and nicer in the hand. It's easier to put in and out of the pocket as well. The volume buttons are a little difficult to press, but it's alright. I do however think that the bumper would offer more shock protection as opposed to this case if there were a fall, but it's alright.

My mom got the Clear snap case, and I saw it and it already had a lot of scratches on the case. I removed it and saw a couple on the back of her phone as well. The clear one just looked dirtier and smudgier than the smoke case. I wish she would have gotten the smoke case, but at least it was free.

question

Is anyone having problems removing the Incase smoke case? It's fitted really tight on my IP4. I can't seem to take off the case off of my phone. Any advice is appreciated.

i saw a comment somewhere that this fits phones with gelaskins on. how bad is the water marking?

Hold the phone with three fingers on the top by the Sleep/wake button and with your thumb by the dock connector.

Use your other thumb to slightly pull the right side of the case away from the phone (the side that doesn't have the buttons and vibrate switch) so that you can lift the phone out from that side first.

The case is just held in by a ridge on the top that lays over the steel band that goes around the phone.

Is there anybody else with a brand new incase smoke case that would like to trade me for my brand new incase clear case? Send me a PM.

just received mine from apple, incase snap smoke. feels really good and very slim. low profile case :D
